  1. Jump Ship or What?

My recommendation would be to trade the lease for a new 4 doors and BUY this one on a 96 month loan, do not lease. Wranglers are one of very few vehicles that hold value quite well and even at a 96 month loan, the money you owe will go down faster than the value of the jeep. So even with $4-5G...
  2. What kind of off-roading can I do in a stock JLU Sahara?

What do you mean ''ready to be replaced'' ??? I change tires when I get the itch to do so. never do I drive with tires under half their tread wear. I sell them while they are still worth something and it normally absorb more than half the price of the new tires.
  3. My Stock Sahara can do this, can Rubicons?

No no, not bottles, from beer glasses, get it right.
  4. What kind of off-roading can I do in a stock JLU Sahara?

Jscan does the job well for a fraction of the price.
  5. What kind of off-roading can I do in a stock JLU Sahara?

He probably meant 18 and not 17..... 275/65r18 are 32.2 inches which is the same as the stock Sahara tires, but 1 inch wider.
  6. Anyone getting a custom vanity license plate?

Allow me to revive this thread….. It is new here that we have the opportunity to order vanity plates. Even if it’s fairly new, finding a combination that isn’t taken was somewhat difficult and helped me understand why lots of places that have had them a long time, have to come up with...
  7. Best Tire Carriers regardless of price?

    Toyos 305/70s...34 inch
  8. Best Tire Carriers regardless of price?

I have the teraflex Alpha HD carrier also and have it adjusted at the highest point mount. I would consider moving it there if I was you, looks better a bit higher imo, as it also puts the 3rd light 1.5 inches higher.
  9. 34s over 35s - Will I regret it?

If width is a concern, then I strongly recommend the 305/70r17. its a 34x12.2. I too wanted something that looked muscular. I had the 285/70 and thought the front look looked too skinny, hence why I didn't even consider the 285/75.
  10. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

Things I've done and immediately fealth satisfaction : 1-Dead pedal 2-Bestop sunrider for hardtop 3- backdoor folding table
  11. Is tuning really necessary?

I owned a flashcal and not flashpaq on my JK and now use the Jscan on my JL, but Superchips is a company that I recommend. their product are very user friendly. I recommend you check it out and watch reviews and videos to learna lot more than I know.
  12. Is tuning really necessary?

You may also wanna check the Superchips Flashpaq, it offers a few tuning possibilities.
  13. 34s over 35s - Will I regret it?

Depends, the bigger the tires, the more impact on gearing. If you want to avoid re-gearing, 34s will do perfect. Don't forget that 34s will look as big on your Willy's, as 35s do on Rubicon, due to the Rubi higher and bigger fender flares/ wheel openings. Look at 305/70r17s they are a real 34...
  14. MOAB Edition JL Club Thread

Found the answer, all I had to do is scroll down on their site.... You actually can keep the stock inner fenders. All one has to do is trim them a little.
  15. MOAB Edition JL Club Thread

Cool, that is great. Can one keep the stock fender liners, or do you have to change them too ?
  16. MOAB Edition JL Club Thread

Hold-up, wait a minute... did you chop your stock fenders, or are these aftermarket fenders ? I tried to find a ''kit'' to chop my stockers, but havent found anything... Everything I came upon were designed to be used with the rubicons wider flares.
  17. Who has taken their JL on a long road trip and what was your experience like?!

If You know You're heading towards bad roads, you'll be fine, but for all highway on 3 plus hours trip, unless you are used to driving a crapbox, you'll be in the wrong vehicle. Some of our friends live 6 hours away all highway and I wouldn't attempt in my Jeep ( and its not sporting a huge...
  18. Bronco features you would like Jeep to incorporate into Wrangler during JL's mid-cycle redesign

1-Mirrors that stay when you remove doors, but that would be easily removeable too for tight trail riding. 2-Extreme recon package on all models with proper gear ratios. (like the Sasquatch for the Bronco) 3-Add 2 piece soft doors as an option ( just like the bestop sunrider now) 4-Updated 10...
  19. Diffrence between JL and JK gears and installation ?
