so you've had the Jeep for a year and only 975 miles? Would you drive the 4runner more? It seems like you barely drive the Jeep as it is, so why lose all the money in a trade, fees, and taxes? Just keep what you have if it does what you need...Unless it's a cosmetic thing??
So I had a Sahara for about a month and half before I traded it in for a Rubicon..
My Sahara was a 3.6 Manual with a soft top. It had full leather, no selc trac, and no LSD. When I went to trade it in, one dealer wanted to give me 30K on the trade and his reasoning was: "Sahara buyers want...
Yeah..that was a pretty smoking deal..Still a deal at $850.. I paid $550 for a used steel bumper that had a lil knick in it and some scratches...Had to replace a warped fog light bezel too...all in all I'm happy...but that skid plate it is about $250 on its own...
They did the same thing with me on a Viair compressor. Ordered it and it said it was in stock..Then I got an email about a week later saying it was coming directly from the manufacturer..Tried calling, no luck..Then about 3.5 weeks after my order the compressor just showed up.
You also get lockers and 4.10 gearing in the Rubicon. I don't know if they're the same wide axles. It might be the axels they throw in the JT's. Not sure on that one.
If you're thinking Rubicon, get the Rubicon. I bought a Sahara first, and traded it a month and half later.
Looks like gearing is 3.73. Does that mean it has the M200 and M220 axles?
I think it’s cool that Jeep offers many trims. Jeep appeals to everyone. That’s a good thing. My other favorite brand, Harley, should follow what Jeep does. Maybe they wouldn’t be in such trouble.
