Update! Went yesterday, zero issues on the beach.
  2. Service 4WD indicator during (brief) beach trip

I've had it out to Uwharrie a few times on the trails, and everything has functioned fine there. Haven't had a chance to get back to the beach yet this year, but we're probably going to make a trip one day this coming week. I'll report back how it goes in the sand.

  4. Dynatrac EnduroSport 2" lift - also fixed my steering issues!

Smittybilt X2O 10k with synthetic line, which I believe is 67 lbs. Here's how it sits with the spacers in the front:
  5. Dynatrac EnduroSport 2" lift - also fixed my steering issues!

I went with the Teraflex 1/2" spacer in the front with OEM steel bumper + winch + winch plate and it sits nicely like that.
  6. HELLA YELLA Wrangler JL Club

Preach. I drove a dark blue sedan for 15 years, and I have had more people pull out in front of my giant yellow Jeep in 18 months than those entire 15 years in the car. It's mind boggling.

  8. backup camera suddenly stopped working

It will fix itself the next time the system does a full power cycle (after the Jeep sits for a few hours). It will eventually break again, but most of the time it works fine. It's a Jeep thing.
  9. North Carolina Roll Call

+1 for Fussell, I used to live right down the street from them and I've been going there for years. Great folks, good prices, never had any issues.
  10. SARGE GREEN Wrangler JL Club

This, 100%. I wanted to see Sarge with a tan top so bad, and now that I see it, it just doesn't look quite right. It definitely needs to be a darker tan.
  11. White Letters Out?

Yeah those silver hubs are fastened by three screws through the back. I don't like the look with the silver so I took them off. Ideally I think I would like the black ones that come with the black wheels but I will probably just try to paint the silver ones that I already have and make them black.

    White on white!
  14. SARGE GREEN Wrangler JL Club

The tan interior is 100% where it's at. Now somebody post one with a tan top too!
  15. North Carolina Roll Call

It really is amazing. I see 100 different Jeeps a week, but still haven't run across Fat Ninja, the Saharacon, or the LJ when you still had it.
  16. North Carolina Roll Call

Yeah mine is exactly the same, a bit of rotational movement but absolutely no lateral movement.
  17. North Carolina Roll Call

Noooooooooooo, that was the best part of Northridge!
  18. North Carolina Roll Call

We have the same one. They are not supposed to be greaseable (there's no zerk fitting) but both bushings are packed with grease and there are four rubber boots (front and back side, on both ends of the trackbar). The problem seems to be that the boots are retained in place by very flimsy...
  19. North Carolina Roll Call

I've had the Teraflex track bar for only a few months now and I'm not thrilled. The grease boots for the bushings are pretty bad. Both sides slipped off on the axle end, and one side on the frame end already has a tear.
  20. HELLA YELLA Wrangler JL Club

The color-matched hard top has been unavailable to order for a couple of months now. The same thing happened to Mojito before it was completely discontinued.
