  1. Uh oh I have a premonition......

Yes, Chrome here. I can try another browser but then I'll have to remember my password!
  2. Uh oh I have a premonition......

I've been having the problem transitioning to the next pages also. Thought it was just me.
  3. QTDDTOT: Questions that don't deserve their own thread

In that case, all three of your questions may have the same answer! If that indicator is is not illuminated then there is something wrong.
  4. QTDDTOT: Questions that don't deserve their own thread

    1) Assuming you have an automatic, there is a setting somewhere that will add the gear to the dashboard display. Sorry, I have a manual and don't know exactly where that is. 2) That portion of the display shows the status of the transfer case (it mimics the shifter knob). The 2H should be...
  5. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

I think the main difference is in comparing a Sport to a Rubicon. The Sport's gear ratios, tire size, and reduced weight have to affect the mileage. With my Sport, I always beat the mileage figures on the sticker, and on long highway trips, the mileage is pretty amazing for a Jeep.
  6. The clutch gang!

Starting without the clutch in 4L works, but it's not ideal. First, it only works after a stall (accidental or on purpose). It doesn't work on a cold start. Second, you only have about 20-30 seconds to restart without the clutch. The instrument panel display will show when it's possible...
  7. 13 Easter Eggs on the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon EcoDiesel

Not specifically for the Diesel, but I rarely see this one mentioned (because it's on a manual) . . . Since 1941 on the gear shift.
  8. The Sunrider for Hardtop for the All New Jeep® Wrangler JL is here!

Not that it really matters, but the "original" instructions were to assemble it before installing it on the Jeep (I bought one in 2018 when it was first released). Then the instructions were revised to install the rails on the Jeep first and then install the rest on the vehicle. It seems like...
  9. Two Questions, Bumper and Mileage Report

I wasn’t aware of that difference - sorry! I guess I’m not up to date on the Jeeps that “phone home.”
  10. Two Questions, Bumper and Mileage Report

Since you have a Sport, I think things are different for you (and me). To the best of my knowledge, there are no over the air updates, vehicle "health" reports, or UConnect tracking on a Sport/Sport S. I think you will have the satellite antenna regardless. The only way my mileage gets updated...
  11. Chrysler Feedback Email

I got the same survey from the same email address. The email was signed at the bottom by Mark Chapine, Head of North America Quality, Fiat Chrysler. I didn't see anything suspicious about it and filled it out.
  12. Rear window defroster connector

That's a pretty common problem. It's covered under warranty. Some have had the rear window replaced and some have had the connector re-soldered. Here is one of the threads thread about it...
  13. Thank You

Your key fob holster was the first thing I bought for my JL way back in 2018, and I still love it. Your customer service and craftsmanship are exceptional!
  14. Arkansas For Sale - Trail Rated Kit

They used to come with 2 D Rings - which accounts for a lot of the descriptions and photos on the internet. The "new and improved" kit comes with 1 D Ring.
  15. ESS battery dead

This is a great improvement. Does anyone know if this change can be made retroactively to 2018s via a software update or something?
  16. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

Thanks for posting this! "NOTE: Allow a minimum of 5 minutes for the clutch odor to dissipate before returning vehicle to the customer." :CWL::CWL::CWL:
  17. Sport Owner Favor

I did the same on a stock 4 door in case it helps. On mine, front is 13.25 inches, the rear is 14 inches.
  18. Blind Spot detection: is it useless or am I missing something?

This is one of the biggest benefits IMO. I always check before making a lane change and then the BSM monitors things while I’m making the lane change.
  19. The clutch gang!

Just speculating based on some posts here. I think some have said dealers would re-route a wiring harness and then "inspect" it. I think a dealer here said all the manuals on his lot had already been inspected and cleared. I don't know how accurate any of that is, but the recall notice said...
  20. The clutch gang!

I’m still driving mine and I’m not too worried. The odds are probably very low that something will happen. We have a pretty good idea of the signs of possible trouble. If you smell the clutch burning, smell smoke or experience a slipping clutch, take it in for service asap. if you hear an...
