  1. The Trasharoo Problem

Just use a cheapo soccer ball bag from Amazon ($5) and two bungee cords around the spare tire. Works flawlessly!
  2. Mounting ARB Air Compressor

Same here, but under the drivers seat! She’s always volunteering to sit in the drivers seat on air up and watch the TPMS display. Took me an air up or two to realize her end game. Haha, great writeup!
  3. Steering wheel wobble?

I relocated my damper with a synergy relocation bracket. The “shimmy“ gets worse when you change the damper location bandaid that FCA has engineered. I’ve racked my brain learning about damping valving and fluid dynamics over the past 4 months since the “shimmy” started. I have several Ram...
  4. 2021 Steel Steering Gear Upgrade

I had play* in the physical connection on my Aluminum box (0.030”-0.040”), had the TSB Steel body box installed with power steering flash update. The jeep still wandered and had play at the box (0.025”) plus shimmy in the steering wheel. After a bit of investigatory poking seeping the jeep I...
  5. Keep an eye on Sirius/XM

I find satellite radio VERY useful in my jeep! I’m typically using my jeep outside of radio reception and mobile service in remote areas and really do enjoy uninterrupted satellite radio broadcasts. But, I do understand some Jeeps don’t leave the city radio reception/mobile service areas...
  6. Thoughts on rage 4th rear bumper?

I didn’t order my Jeep with rear sensors. No issues to report to date. I’ve done a few recoveries with my d-rings and not a bolt loose.
  7. Thoughts on rage 4th rear bumper?

You’ll have to remove the bumper it install the lights. I made ABS plastic covers for mine until I get lights. It’s only 10 easily accessible bolts to remove/install. I’d say it only took 15min to install.
  8. Thoughts on rage 4th rear bumper?

I installed mine last month after destroying my OE Steel bumper. The figment and install was flawless. I did have to purchase two M14 bolts that I didn’t have, but everything was great! I ended up waiting for a coupon at 4WD parts, it was $915 out the door.
  9. ‘18 Black JLUR - NEW 39” BFG KM3 & Rotiform SIX 17x9, RK X-Factor 3.5” w/ Kings, Road Armor Flares

Do you have pictures of the rig flexed so we can see the tire/fender clearances?
  10. 13.2 mpg with 37s....

I’m on 4.10:1 gears with BFG 37x12.50R17 at 32psi. I verified my tire size by doing a circumferential rollout C/π = d, programmed my flash calibration tool to the true diameter, verified speedometer with GPS. I don’t push hard on the throttle and do interstate between 65-75 mph. Currently...
  11. Service bulletin on steering problem.

Do you have a status update? Mine is wandering all over the road too.
  12. My steering wheel is off by 1 to 3% after off-roading

I’m having the same problem with my 2020 JLUR. Tonight it was off enough to trigger my Stability Control to shoot a warning. Got home and adjusted the track bar to center my wheel. So, why would the OEM draglink need to be adjusted after wheeling when toe-in alignment is within tolerance...
  13. Going in 4WD over 45 mph

Here’s my engineering two cents worth. 4WD HI is for slippery road surfaces. Sharp turns and dry pavement is NOT recommended. I’ve run 4WD HI on light snow/ice covered roads at reasonable speeds (50+ MPH) for the conditions in all the Jeeps I’ve owned over the past 30 years, keep in mind you...
  14. BRIGHT WHITE Wrangler JL Club

I have the same ones, I love the tucked in offset and they work well off-road.
  15. Shorten OEM Antenna

I’m really not sure if you’re being serious or not. But judging by some of your snarky comments from other threads. I call BS on needing an antenna to gauge height in a parking garage. Most competent Folks are fully aware of the height of their jeeps, it goes hand-and-hand with knowing your...
  16. Shorten OEM Antenna

Glad it worked for you. I’ve been happy with mine too.
  17. My steering wheel is off by 1 to 3% after off-roading

Any traction on the issue? My draglink needs readjustment after lockers used in 4WD LOW.
  18. JLU Rubicon Auto: 35" and 37" - Regearing Math

Seems a lot of people are dredging up TJ gear charts I just opened up file and saw all the excellent tabs you compiled! Nice
  19. JLU Rubicon Auto: 35" and 37" - Regearing Math

What transmission gear ratio is your (math) chart based off of? Seems to be missing from most folks comments.
