  1. Help with color choice crystal grey vs. snazzberry

I know which one I would choose for a multitude of reasons, but especially for the 15 additional horsepower that comes with the Granite Crystal Metallic editions. No matter which one you pick, you will love it because it's a Jeep!
  2. MagnaFlow JL Jeep Wrangler Street Series Axle-Back Performance Exhaust System

Two possibilities; Either you got a bad unit, or you didn’t install it correctly. It should easily slip on (no kicking necessary), so I would start there. Maybe remove it and reinstall it. If it were me I would lightly coat all connections from the inlet pipe to the hangars themselves with...
  3. Blackout "Jeep" lettering

    ...just sayin’.
  4. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

@JESM Thank you. So far so good-they put off a lot of light, they are very well constructed, they were a breeze to install and look great. While they were not cheap, you get what you pay for. I've always liked KC lights and these seemed like a good fit.
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Removed the "White" factory Wrangler Unlimited Decals and replaced them with Black Pixel Decals. Looks much better with the MOAB paint scheme (black accents). Added KC LZR lights on the cowl.
  6. JL resale values are insane!

Ummmmm, wasn't this thread about resale prices? Just sayin' ;)
  7. 3.6L ESS Aux Battery Bypass

I think this is why so many of us remain confused!!! Shouldn't there be a simple way (that we all agree on) that would delete the small battery (provided the ESS is disabled) and have our Jeeps operate like a normal 1 Battery vehicle? Seems that shouldn't be too much to ask, right? Sadly...
  8. MagnaFlow JL Jeep Wrangler Street Series Axle-Back Performance Exhaust System

Those tips are much higher than the stock exhaust outlet and the rest of the undercarriage. While I do think you could hit them on a steep departure angle, or dropping off of a rock, they are pretty solid and would be hard to crush without damaging the entire muffler. For that matter almost...
  9. 3.6L ESS Aux Battery Bypass

There are many of us that are operating with a disabled ESS (on purpose) and have no need for the aux battery. Is it safe to say that it (the small aux battery) can simply be removed or stay in place as dead weight without any long term consequences? For someone like myself that will NEVER...
  10. JL resale values are insane!

@COBill I could not agree more. While I am not a dealer, I have bought and sold more vehicles that the average person. I tend to take excellent care of them, as therefore in most, if not all cases, my vehicles have always sold above KBB prices. This is why I am shocked at the value that KBB...
  11. MagnaFlow JL Jeep Wrangler Street Series Axle-Back Performance Exhaust System

Another vote for the Magnaflow and Hott Exhaust. I have had mine on for a year now and enjoy it every time I drive the Jeep. It has a good balanced note to the sound and looks great.
  12. JL resale values are insane!

While I have no interest in selling my Jeep, I finally took a few minutes and checked out KBB. Wow, there is something going on there. I have a MOAB which according to a few sources including KBB is the highest priced model. (See attached KBB photo). But I didn’t expect the private party...
  13. Trying to figure out what this is?

My first thought is that isn't OEM. Maybe someone is tracking you? I'd remove it and leave a sticky note; "Nice try Fed". ;)
  14. JL Wrangler vs New Ford Bronco

I may have seen the sport, but I know for sure I am not "scared" of the Bronco. I have not only owned them in the past, I actually liked them. I also can afford as many cars as I like (including the Bronco), I own Fords and Jeeps and trust me, I will never buy a new Bronco based on this new...
  15. JL Wrangler vs New Ford Bronco

Not exactly sure which one it was. I didn't think they were out yet, but obviously they are. I'm in CA and this one was just driving down the freeway (actually in traffic). It stood out because it has IMHO, a very juvenile looking "Bronco" script written across the back. Both my wife and...
  16. JL Wrangler vs New Ford Bronco

Welp...I saw my first new Bronco on the road yesterday. OMG that thing is ugly. Not sure what they were going for but as a former Bronco owner myself, I think they really missed the mark. Surely some will like it because it is new, and new things get attention, however after that wears off...
  17. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

When I corresponded with Redline they suggested that the bracket itself should be; 1. Pushed up towards the front of the hood as that is the natural position of function. None of the opening of the slot at the top should show. 2. Be positioned UNDER the hood insulation (mat) so that it can lay...
  18. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

It's hard to tell from the photo but you want to make sure that the top bracket is not installed "over" the hood insulation. You will want to make sure you either tuck it under or trim the hood insulation so that the bracket itself seats right up against the hood. (I am not referring to the...
  19. Guess I should have ordered a Ford Bronco!

Welp, it looks like the wait is over. The Bronco equipped with a bottle opener is ready for delivery. It’s a little fugly at first, but I’m told it will grow on you. 🤣🤣🤣
