Yes, I actually got escalated a bit ago, and got my Cara email shortly after.
As @GATORB8 mentioned, calling in will get you to a live person (probably in the US) who can actually look into the escalation ticket for you and tell you if there's anything there. I discovered this on Tuesday, and...
Good to know it's not just me!
I realize it sounded like I have been pestering him -- really, I've asked for an update four times since I ordered 49 days ago, and I haven't tried to call since we were in the ordering process (but I could never get him on the phone then, and he never returned...
We've been saying we'll get scheduled "this week" for four weeks now. At this point I'd rather not get my hopes up. It's the hope that gets you. At this point I won't be surprised if mine's one that takes 90+ days just to get to build. Or even one that's delayed six months and isn't built...
Still in D, day 48. Still angry/frustrated/disappointed.
The dealer says "it's gorilla glass!" when I know damn good and well it's not at this point. I asked him if he can do anything from his end and radio silence.
I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. Over the past few days I have...
I'm very happy for you May-ordering folks that you're finally getting your Jeeps built.
We will see what the next few days brings, but I've almost decided to walk away from my order (or sell it immediately after it gets titled if the dealer won't refund my deposit; I could probably even make...
You're right on that, they probably won't care, because in 2021 they can't make Jeeps fast enough. That won't always be the case, of course, especially if they have real competition for the Wrangler. But it's certainly the case in 2021.
Look, I'm glad that you're able to wait with the...
THAT officially makes me extremely angry. Like, bordering on actual rage.
A month after my order, you have a build date, I still do not (just checked). And now they're planning into the week of 09 August. I just told the chat rep that if I don't have...
There are several early June pentastars, plenty of May 2.0Ls, and the “28 June” order was a diesel. Also the 4xe shows up as a Sport 2.0L too, which skews that a bit. I do think the 2.0L is probably more popular, not least because it’s cheaper…
I saw that and was quite irritated by it, ngl. Given that those dates are user-entered and not editable after they are entered, I am hoping it was a typo and they ordered 28 May instead. Otherwise… that’s just rude, Jeep!
And yeah, no discernible patterns to me, either, at least at first...
A few more to round out the day:
I think that means 31 so far since the plant reopened. I would love to know what percentage of custom orders are tracked via cryptostickers! It has to be fairly low, right?
Hilarious. April was the one I chatted with earlier today, and she gave me the standard 8-10 weeks line. I gently and politely pointed out that it would have to be built next week for it to make ten weeks, and that that’s unlikely since it’s not yet on the production schedule. Maybe that...
Build sheets are really being pumped out today -- guess someone is doing data entry. 😂
Ten, just since I looked last!
One GG build sheet overnight -- @johngalt312's.
Thirteen more have showed up today, including what I suspect is @Cypher 's!
Meanwhile, I'm still in D. Day 42.
Edit: build sheet. not window...
It‘s still there for the higher trim levels at least, all the 4xe levels, and the 392. I don’t see it for some of the special editions (80th, Freedom), and the website is screwing up for me so I haven’t been able to check all the lower trim levels. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
Checked your post history -- it was day 45 for you. (11 May to when you got the "all parts received" from Jeep Chat on 25 June, though it may have been as early as 21 June/41 days). So yeah, about this relative point for you, too!
