They replied to me and will be sending me a new light. They seem to think the shipment mixed old gen and new gen lights. The passenger side is the new gen. They are basing it off the pattern shown on turn signal.
I am running falcon sp2 3.3. I upgraded my springs to the synergy 4-5". This gave me plenty of clearance and works fine with the falcons. I may add a leveling puck to the rear as it's a bit lower than the front.
My*JLUR is very heavy with the extra fuel tank, armor, and 4 people.
I have the slip stream on my JLU. Due to the way the soft top folds back, it does not allow the soft top to rest as low as factory designed.
This causes the following problems.
1. Will not lock in the open position. This is not a real issue for every day use, as the cover for the soft top...
You would be wrong with that suggestion. At those pressures the handling is not comfortable and could be less safe.
Those ratings are for EPA standards, not optimal handling and safety.
Using a chalk test is one way to find the proper tire pressure. Weighing the 4 corners and following tire...
I worded this wrong.
THe problem was when in SUNRIDER position or full "CLOSED". The passenger side would not lock.
It had worked prior to storage last year. I ended up pushing it hard, and it locked into place. Now it works normal. Maybe it just got finicky being left hanging for the winter.
I am putting the soft top on for the season. Got everything in place and now the soft top wont lock on the drivers side. This is when trying to put it in the sunrider or fully closed position.
Is there a way to adjust the tension to get it to lock?
I am installing new drive shafts and yokes. The rear and transfer case are simple to torque using the transfer case in 4l and ebrake engaged.
The front is not so easy due to the FAD.
My choices are:
1) pry bar in the yoke
2) torque extensions on my impact wrench
3) something I haven't thought...
The drive shafts are in good condition, no vibrations. The front has scuffs from contact with my skid plate.
Both have a misshapen flange from extreme angles of my 3in lift.
Replaced these with shafts more suited for a lift. Asking $350 for the set. Pickup preferred, but will ship at buyers...
