But it may be high enough in demand at the outset to prevent it from being included in Tread Lightly discount? I've never used or researched Tread Lightly so I don't know what FCA's pattern is for excluding vehicles. Do they only ever exclude special edition models?
Really love the Jeep Safari Concept like everyone else. So my mods are going to be modeled after the concept. If I get Sport model then I'll get hi-line fenders and turn signal relocation kit to the grille, lift kit, half doors, town hooks in body color or maybe different accent color.
Now the Chinese company Great Wall Motor Co. says it's interested in buying the Jeep brand.
With news that Chinese companies are interested in buying FCA makes me think if Jeeps and Wranglers in particular might be affected?
Hopefully they'd leave well enough alone and not change up anything considering Jeep and the Wrangler is the cashcow for the company!
Thank goodness the the Prangler never came to be but this mash-up is one of the kookiest ideas I've seen lol. :surprised:
Pre-production mules are, by their very nature, strange, chimera-like beasts, made from whatever was handy with little regard to how they look. As a...
That's because the JL basically looks like the JK except for some of the new styling from the windshield forward. Take away the JL's new side body line and fender vents (which OP says isn't on the pickup) and they look even more alike.
I know, that's what I was referring to. Expanding the Wrangler production capacity for the JL should help. Whether it translates to better quality control we'll see.
I think you know what I mean. People buy jeeps for its off road performance and image among other things. They use it off road...
They've been at full production capacity for a while now. I'm hoping expanding the lines and adding workers will help with build and quality but we'll see. Some competition would definitely help. I don't think it's an issue with production or engineering processes, it's just reaching and...
Seems like an odd shape and position for it. They're usually higher on the console closer to the steering wheel or on the steering column like these other Jeeps. But then again I've never seen the button placed on the left side of the steering wheel which is what the JL interior pics would...
That's a BIG pie you're talking about. Ford alone sells 60,000-70,000 F-150s a MONTH! Here were last year's midsize truck sales:
F-150: over 700k
So over a million midsize trucks were sold last year alone.
I dunno if I can make out those windows on the prototype hard top but would be a nice touch. Would let more light into the cabin and give airier feel with the top on.
Had to look it up but I'd love to see something innovative like Bestop's TrekTop NX Glide as the new soft top. Don't they make...
