@dealerinsider any deals on the new Grand Cherokee L? Wife’s gonna need a new vehicle soon.
  2. AUX Switches: Cable COLOR CODE Wiring Identification

The red/white wire should actually be one of the smaller wires. What are you trying to power? Is there no power at the wire itself?
  3. Build options changed on

Do you have a build sheet from your order and/or a build status on your order? Btw, the build and price tool on the website is not always 100% accurate.
  4. First time jeep owner

Not knowing anything about your use-case, I would still HIGHLY recommend the Trailer/Tow group. For me personally, that group along with the Cold Weather group and Alpine sound system were non-negotiables for me. The Willys package comes standard with the LED headlights which are vastly...
  5. No one will admit it, but here goes.....

I would rather pay MSRP for a vehicle I actually want to drive than get a significant discount on a vehicle that I'd be miserable in (relatively) every day. Life's too short to boil everything down to a value proposition.
  6. No Drill: DeeZee vs Exposed Racks Opinions?

I was in the same boat. Drilling into the top wasn’t an option I was comfortable with. The DeeZee rack checked all of our boxes. We ordered from Amazon and received ours in 3 days. Happy to take pictures for you or answer any questions you have about it.
  7. AUX Switches: Cable COLOR CODE Wiring Identification

You wired power to pink/orange correct? My wires were opposite from the original post in this thread. Also, make sure your dashcam doesn’t need to have the voltage stepped down to 5V. I wired my dashcam to ignition and it wouldn’t work until I added a converter to go from 12V to 5V.
  8. Plastic Door Opening Trim Reinstall Sequence

I found this video helpful when installing a dash cam. Just follow the steps in reverse.
  9. I Got Some Bad Trail Wounds

That second-to-last pic with the KO2s installed in awesome. Clean and simple. Glad you were able to get it all fixed up and boy do you have a story to go along with it!
  10. Texas Houston craiglist soft top ad

Definitely a good score @CarbonSteel! Glad it was someone here on the forums.
  11. Soft Top Lovers Club- Tips and Tricks

Unfortunately he decided to sell to someone there locally. I offered him above his asking price to hold it for me since I was the first to contact him and he wanted me to overnight him $100 as a deposit. I declined even though I think he wasn’t trying to scam me. Oh well…
  12. Soft Top Lovers Club- Tips and Tricks

A few other forum users turned me on to a Houston Craigslist ad for a black 4 door premium twill soft top (part no. 82215146AB). The guy is selling it for $500 and he’s never used it. I honestly think the guy has no idea what he should be asking for it. Am I about to get stabbed in a Wal-Mart...
  13. Texas Houston craiglist soft top ad

Currently corresponding with the guy who's selling this soft top. I suppose I'm not about to get suckered into one of these "too good to be true" deals? We'll see...
  14. Weathertech No Drill Mud Guards Fit 4xe?

IF the fenders on the 4Xe Sahara aren’t any different than any other Sahara/Sport model, then you should be able to select something like a JLU Willys trim and be good. Hopefully Weathertech will be able to give you a definitive answer. Best of luck!
  15. Weathertech No Drill Mud Guards Fit 4xe?

I have the Weathertech mud flaps on my JLU Willys which of course comes with the same rock rails as the Rubicon. They attach to the fenders and are TIGHT against the rock rails but the part number I ordered fits a few other models as well. Does the 4Xe have the same size fenders as the...
  16. How to run Dash Cam hardwire on 2021 JLU?

I had the same issue with switched wires. I have everything working now but my Aux 3 wire and ignition wire were color swapped.
  17. Illinois JLU (4 door) premium soft top and rock rails

Sounds like I just need to make up my mind on whether or not I want to pull the trigger then. I’m still thinking through what I’ll do with the hardtop during warmer weather and where to store what not being used etc. Hopefully I’ll be back in touch soon.
  18. Illinois JLU (4 door) premium soft top and rock rails

Thanks for the pictures Mike. Any reason you decided to stop using the top? I had planned on doing the same thing you were doing: switch out the tops based on the seasons. Did that just become to difficult or something? I'm just curious if I've got rose colored glasses on about switching tops...
