  2. JLUR rear tailgate glass exploded on a freeway

Final Update: Had to go through my insurance after all to replace the glass. Jeep Care was worthless and didn't do anything to help. Mopar Maximum Care extended plan is crap and waste of money, refused to cover known obvious factory flaw. So if anybody gets in situation like mine, unless you...
  3. JLUR rear tailgate glass exploded on a freeway

@PepperE Yet the Jeep corporate doesn't admit it's a factory defect issue. So hard to fight it.
  4. JLUR rear tailgate glass exploded on a freeway

@KarlN I don't have a history of previous repairs. I only have a history of me complaining on poor soldering before. The dealership promised to order me a new glass but never did. Dealership does not deny the repair, they say they can repair it, but I have to pay out of my pocket even having...
  5. JLUR rear tailgate glass exploded on a freeway

@JimLee Thanks. Just filed the complaint with NHTSA. Not sure if it helps anything, but who knows
  6. JLUR rear tailgate glass exploded on a freeway

Long story short, Jeep Customer Care opened the case, but they are not been any more help at all. Dealership said the earliest they can just look at the truck and examine the cause is in a week. Mopar extended warranty said that my most expensive Maximum Care plan most likely will not cover the...

@PepperE This is exactly what happened to me. Two-three weeks, ouch :(

  10. JLUR rear tailgate glass exploded on a freeway

Had one of the scariest moments of my life last night. Driving on a freeway with my son in the back seat. The rear glass got foggy, so I turned the defroster on. My defrost cable was very poorly soldered, and almost falling off. I addressed this common issue a few times when was taking my...
  11. ESS Dual Battery Management

@Gee-pah, unfortunately I'm absolutely dumb when it comes to electrical part of the vehicle. Most of the stuff you guys discuss here is a "rocket science" to me. When Jerry made his original post about this ESS issue a while ago, all I was able to understand is that with his setup it's possible...

  13. ESS Dual Battery Management

I just had a scenario on my 2018 JLUR when both batteries died. With a jumper connection between N1 and N2 and disconnected negative terminal of AUX battery I was able to jumpstart the vehicle connecting the NOCO charger to both main battery terminals.
  14. AC stops blowing on long trips

I've seen a few posts here about AC blowing hot air. Though my problem is different. It doesn't blow hot air, still blows cold. But the air stream is very weak, almost none.
  15. AC stops blowing on long trips

Thank you. I will definitely try that.
  16. AC stops blowing on long trips

No, haven't replaced it yet. How often does it have to be replaced?
  17. AC stops blowing on long trips

Tried to search here if anybody had a similar problem, but can't find anything. My 2018 JLUR has an issue with AC on a long drives of about an hour and more. In the beginning the AC works fine and blows hard as it supposed to, but after driving for about 40 min to an hour the airflow gets very...
  18. Fiber Optic Hardtop Panels

I actually really like the idea. Would get those for a reasonable price.
  19. 3.6 - For Those Running Premium Fuel

I always use 91 cause it eliminates some slight knock in the engine on low RPMs comparing to 87. But haven't noticed any real improvement either in performance or MPG
