It was my understanding that Jeep Cares is a customer service entity separate from Stellantis. I asked someone from the executive office what was being done to remedy the issue in production and no answer was given.
I emailed my contact at FCA and told them to transfer mine to another dealer. I am tired of waiting for this shit to be done. I have to go get mine today and drop it off at the new body shop on Monday. The new shop is aluminum certified.
The body shop tried to cut corners the first time they attempted to fix. I told them I was not going to take the vehicle back with chipped hinge bolts.
All of this is happening from horrible paint prep as well as failure to separate two dissimilar metals.
