  1. AEV 2.0 Spacer for Rubicon

I'd go w/ shocks designed for a 2'' lift if you don't like the design of the extensions. I installed the extensions and have zero issues but I don't take it rock crawling.........
  2. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

Mine have seen 2 North Dakota/Minnesota winters. Zero rust issues. They are bed lined.
  3. Received Uconnect update message. Anyone know details?

Sorry if this has been mentioned already. The only thing I’ve noticed since the recent update is my backup lines in the camera no longer turn/bend with steering wheel. They stay straight.
  4. AEV 2.0 Spacer for Rubicon

Mopar LCA’s? I thought you are running Teraflex Sport LCA’s? Never did any hard flexing while at 8.5.
  5. AEV 2.0 Spacer for Rubicon

No damage. I ran it at 8.5 castor (before I added the adjustable front UCA's) for an entire North Dakota/Minnesota winter and zero issues running in 4H. I just feel safer in the 6 degree range based on what I've read.
  6. AEV 2.0 Spacer for Rubicon

After I installed the same fixed LCA's w/ the AEV 2" Spacer lift, my caster was +8.5 and it drove great. Based on everything I've read I was a little nervous w/ that high of castor for 4H. I added adjustable front UCAs (I went w/ Clayton) to dial it back into the 6 degree range. Now I truly have...
  7. Too much caster?

Added adjustable front UCA’s. My $5 angle finder has me back in the 6.5 range. I can look up my UCA exact length measurement if it’d be helpful. I went with Clayton Off-road for the UCA’s.
  8. Rubicon wheels powder coated black

PS. I know about plastidip but don't feel like messing with it in harsh North Dakota winters.
  9. Rubicon wheels powder coated black

Stevemat, If you can, please share your experience if you decide to do this. If my OE Rubicon wheels didn't have tires mounted on them I'd love to have them updated to satin black like the MOAB or Willys. I've read some believe powder coating aluminum wheels can weaken their integrity and others...
  10. New Tires?

    Not sure but I’d ponder a re-gear.
  11. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I can relate to the Frankenstein build! I have Synergy, AEV, Teraflex, and Clayton suspension/steering components.
  12. AEV 2.0 Spacer for Rubicon

I went without the adjustable track bar for about a month and didn't notice any noticeable difference in handling (this was before the new steering box was installed so it pulled to the passenger side before and after). From what I've read and my own experience I don't believe the adjustable...
  13. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I had the same experience. I cited the TSB when scheduling my appointment and requested that they ordered the parts. They scheduled me two days later and I was promised the parts would be there. I was nervous about my suspension modifications including adjustable track bar and aftermarket...
  14. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

With my set up, adjusting the front uppers to 20.4 put my castor right at 6.5. Steering feels phenomenal!
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Replacing stock front UCA’s with Clayton Overland + adjustables to dial my caster back from 8.5. Time to do some math! Hoping 6 to 6.5 drives as good as 8.5!
  16. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Tera Teraflex correct? Are they JK specific modded to fit the JLUR? Thanks in advance!!
  17. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Finished up the wiring for my license plate light ($26 ARB kit).
  18. Warthog JLUR Rig Journal

I also have e the AEV 2” Spacer lift on my JLUR. I’m running 35’s and really like how your 37’s are sitting in the wells! I’m running 8.5 caster with my Teraflex Sport LCA’s. Do you know what length your adjustable LCA’s were set at to achieve 6.5 range caster? Thanks in advance!
  19. ROAM MK3 Rock Rail Installation

Agreed, bedlined definitely worth it. Mine have been through one ND/MN winter and zero rust issues.
