  1. Terrible Clutch on Brand New JLUR Has Me Really Frustrated

I feel like there’s got to be something wrong with your clutch. Jeep manuals are generally considered really easy to drive, and I’d agree; my JK and JL manuals were easy to drive smoothly on and off-road. That said, I sold my JL as 1) I was offered a ton of money for it 2) the manual...
  2. Amazing 4xe lease deals?

I saw somebody post on the JL group on Facebook that he got an amazing lease deal on a 4xe. A link was posted to this forum but I see no such indication of a great lease deal. Has anyone gotten or heard about great 4xe deals?
  3. I just test drove a 4xe Rubicon and am very impressed

I've read the same. Apparently, the weight and location of the battery gives it a 50/50 weight distribution and lowers the center of gravity. It's more weight to lug around for sure, but it's weight in the exact right location.
  4. I just test drove a 4xe Rubicon and am very impressed

I just test drove a 4xe Rubicon and am very impressed. It was a rocketship compared to my 2020 Rubicon 3.6L manual at 5200ft. Driving in electric mode was eerie at first but darn near silent; I can see really liking it on the trails. I'm looking into leases. There seem to be good incentives in...
  5. Would you buy another 2.0T? Why? Why not?

Thanks, all. It looks like I’ll be getting the 2.0T but in 4xe form. Most of my driving in under 20 miles round trip so I’ll probably live in electric much of the time, and have that big 370ft-lbs of hybrid torque when I need it. Wheeling in full electric sounds perfect too. I decided to lease...
  6. 4xe Check Engine Light Issue (CEL)

The fuel system in hybrids is typically pressurized for some reason that I don’t recall. A loose gas cap would prevent pressurization. I’m about to order a 4xe which I intend to lease. That seems to be the safest way to be an early adopter.
  7. Would you buy another 3.0L EcoDiesel? Why? Why not?

Thanks to all for the input! I think I’m going to end up leasing a 4xe. The deals are very favorable, and the all-electric range fits my life well; the many short hops vs. long drives favor the 4xe IMO. That said, I don’t want to OWN a 4xe given its complexity and the rate of EV innovation. If I...
  8. Would you buy another 2.0T? Why? Why not?

I just posted a near-identical question over in the EcoDiesel forum. I’ve got a 2020 JLUR with a 3.6L and a manual. I love the Jeep and it’s perfectly configured… except for the drivetrain given where I live. I live at 5200 feet, and routinely go to 8000+ on weekends. This is where the...
  9. Would you buy another 3.0L EcoDiesel? Why? Why not?

I’ve got a 2020 JLUR with a 3.6L and a manual. I love the Jeep and it’s perfectly configured… except for the drivetrain. I live at 5200 feet, and routinely go to 8000+ on weekends. This is where the naturally aspirated 3.6 really falls down. The eastbound climb up Vail Pass on I70 has me in 3rd...

It is. I just listed it on eBay as well but would rather sell through the forum. Check your PMs.
  11. Colorado NEW: Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement

    Bump with added pic.
  12. Colorado NEW: Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement

Part number 82215356AB. I have it new in box, exactly as pictured here (that white spot is just lint): Brand new, never installed, genuine MOPAR. The best price I can find online is $469 + tax and shipping. New price: $400. Pickup near Boulder, Colorado or shipping at buyer's expense.
  13. Colorado New in Box - Rock Krawler Rubicon JL 2.5 Inch System - Stage 1 with 2.25 RRD

I bought a complete JL 2.5 Inch Adventure System - Stage 1 with 2.25 RRD shocks but decided to keep the Jeep stock for the time being. Everything is brand new, never installed. I have also included the Rock Krawler 000 grease and new, OEM MOPAR fasteners for the bolts that are removed (you’re...
  14. Carolina metal masters ball mount knockoff/copy???

Can you share a picture? The threads on the cosmetic hex nut in the grab handle are very odd. I seem to recall my CMM ball having the same.
  15. Jeep Teases 392 6.4L Hemi V8 Wrangler?!

My guess is it’ll be a $9000 option. Very cool if it comes to fruition.
  16. Rokblokz Mudflaps

I haven’t been able to make the rears Rokblokz work with the fender liners on my Rubicon. After butchering the originals I bought a new pair to retry. I duplicated the liner modification shown above and it doesn’t work. I have Rubicon steel bumpers if that makes a difference. In fact, I removed...
  17. 2021 order!! 3.6 Pentastar V6 w/ eTorque <OR> 3.0 EcoDiesel??

That’s me at COTA in my GT350R. The Jeep+Shelby combo makes me happy.
  18. Hoping to buy first Wrangler...

Really, truly think about the 2-door decision. I bought a 2016 JK Willys 2-door and it failed at being a viable daily driver for me. It also failed at being a fun weekend vehicle as there just wasn't enough cargo room to take it on trips. Aim for 6%+ under invoice (yes, invoice, not MSRP)...
