  1. ARB refrigerator installs

I know that this is a late reply but I installed a hatch and have been very happy with it. Definitely would do it again.
  2. Options for front axle shafts

I will update soon. Still in the middle of a few things concerning the axles.
  3. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

That is the video that i watched before I changed the battery. It is a good overview of the job but I strongly recommend one change. Around the 7:00 mark in his video he only removed the (4) 7mm bolts in the fuse panel and pulled it up at an angle due to the N1-N8 lugs still connected. I would...
  4. Options for front axle shafts

I was in the same boat as you a few months ago. I broke a stock shaft and wanted to upgrade. Dana Chromoly for the rear was an easy call but i struggled with the front as i wanted to keep the FAD. I finally went with the RCV's as they were the only ones that i could find with that replaced...

Loaded up and ready to go! Trailer pulling out in the morning!
  6. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

I have found his video's to be very helpful and actually watched the one on the main fuse bar during this ordeal. Because of his knowledge i am very reluctant to say this but I do not see how you could change it by removing the fender. My reason is that 1. the battery fits in a tray and i...
  7. Rockjock Tow Bar Mounting Kit

I ordered one and it was much beefier than i anticipated, really well made. I really liked the fact that it was very easy to install and remove. My thought was i could tow the jeep somewhere and then quickly remove it and reinstall the original skid to trail ride, therefore not having it...
  8. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

After messing with it all day i will say that it is not a hard job but it is a pain in the ass. The main problem is that you have to remove and disconnect the entire fuse box which as i found out has an unnecessary risk associated with it. After dealing with it all day i would offer one piece...
  9. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

Found the problem so no Bronco for me! Changing the Aux battery is a real pain in the ass! When plugging in the module one of the pins didn’t line up. Straightend the plug / reinstalled and she fired right up.

It is plugged in. I even swapped them from the other JL with no luck.
  12. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

The photo above circled in red is the main fuse bar for the N1-N8. I swapped it on another JL and his fired right up and mine still dead. Next i am going to swap the old batteries back in and then swap the module with the other JL. Anything you see please let me know. I really hope it is...
  13. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

Yes the fridge is wired to the main battery and has been for almost a year and I have left if on in low power shutoff a few times which has run the battery down until the Jeep will not crank. The Jeep is not acting like it is low battery. It is acting as if the main 12v battery is not connected...
  14. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

I had a dead battery a few times because of the ARB fridge that was left on and also I was leaving the FOB in the Jeep. It is not a daily driver and may sit for up to two weeks. I literally cranked the Jeep and backed in the garage. Changed the batteries and now nothing
  15. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

I also just pulled and replaced each relay one at a time with no effect. What would possibly keep the main 12v battery from powering up the Jeep?????? I also have a charger on the main battery with no effect
  16. Heading to Moab Wednesday and Jeep will not crank!! Need Input!

I just went through everything again. checked the aux battery and it is connected properly and it read 12.63 volts. Checked the module and didn’t see any bent / broken pins. Reinstalled and everything went together smoothly So it seemed. Dome lights, horn work, dash and 8.2 screen...

I put a meter on top of each of the N1-N8 lugs. With the main battery removed but the aux battery in place they each read approx .6volts With the main battery installed they were 12.6v each.
