Thats a good deal. It doesn't address the outer knuckles, brakes and steering which I would consider all to be important while swapping the front end. I assume the outer axles are 30 spline as well.
I ran Dynatrac 60s on my TJ with sunray 1550 outers on the front and they were extremely...
Following this thread. I've had the blue screen of death for over a week now. Hopefully an update will resolve it. I've tried everything in every thread and would love to avoid the dealership at all cost. Thank you!
I put on an Arcus front bumper. (painted the hooks red) Looks way better than I was anticipating. Winch goes in soon. I also did the Synergy relocation bracket for the e-brake cables. After my last e-brake fiasco I decided to leave them attached and cut the Rubber O-rings.
I just did the front to match the rear. Ceramic tint.
I also had them add a clear door edge guard to the side and bottom edge of each door, so when I took the doors off and put them on the ground they sit on the plastic and not the door trim.
^ This. I swapped my TJ from an MT to an Auto and it ended up being easier to put a V8 in at the same time. Swapping in an Auto was also my biggest mistake and ultimately why I sold it. (I prefer a manual and find them much more rewarding off-road)
Awesome! I'm adding the Arcus to my Jeep as soon as the hooks are painted. Did you just spray paint them?
I really like the Mopar bumper but it was a $1500 option on the Jeep (plus winch adds) and a ton of people already have it. I wanted to save money and have something unique.
I helped set up gears one time and that was plenty. It was on a HPD30 swap with 4.88s. Its a bitch of a job, takes countless time and to do right you need to spend a lot in tools. I love working on my Jeep but unless you plan on doing numerous gear set-ups the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
