  1. What bumpers fit badlands winch?

The Rugged Ridge Venator front bumper will technically hold it, but it doesnt fit well. Good enough for sure, but if you’re looking for a perfect fit, look elsewhere.
  2. Texas River City Offroad - Nothing Short of Excellent

+1 for phenomenal service and prices. It is uncommon to find a company that answers the phone on pretty much the first ring, or responds to a text message in less than two minutes to answer questions and provide advice. RCO is absolutely top notch!
  3. Jonny Lieberman Gushes Over Jeep Wrangler 392 – “It Shouldn’t Exist”

Is it a coincidence that his initials are JL? I love reading/watching his content.
  4. Installing new 7pin mopar trailer wiring harness

Would love to hear how this turns out for you. I did add an aftermarket trailer hitch but have not yet added any wiring, the the older 7 pin seems like a bit of a hassle so I planned on just doing the 4 pin... but if this turns out to be somewhat straightforward, perhaps go for it.
  5. 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 V8 - Specs, Wallpapers, Videos!

I wouldn‘t be surprised if it is just a new sticker to go with the bronze theme, but thought it was worth pointing out in case someone had more details on it. I did check a number of Mopar parts sites and didn’t see anything new available... keeping my eyes peeled though.
  6. 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 V8 - Specs, Wallpapers, Videos!

Not sure if it was posted previously, but in watching b-roll footage, the shocks on the 392 appear to be different than both the factory Mopar 2” lift shocks and the Mojave shocks as well.

  11. Harbor Freight Badland Apex 12,000# Winch Lower Price

So, the dimensions of the Apex are a bit bigger than the Smitty, which interferes with the top clamshell of the Venator bumper and leaves a bit larger of a gap above the fairlead. I also had to trim the control tray so the power wire didn’t protrude out the back quite as far and interfere with...

  13. Anyone else wrenching during quarantine?

Just got in my RR Venator bumper and decided to install it along with Gear America shackles and a Smittybilt X2O 12k winch. Got the winch all hooked up just to find out it has a bad solenoid, switch, or both. Un-wrenched it and will be returning it to Summit in favor of the Badland Apex from HFT.
  14. Harbor Freight Badland Apex 12,000# Winch Lower Price

Ended up returning my Smittybilt X2O 12K and pulled the trigger on the Apex. Had nothing but problems with the switch/solenoid.

  18. Got the V41 recall work done

Called Lou Fusz Jeep in O’Fallon, MO. on Tuesday to schedule my recall work, and was told that I didn’t need an appointment! Per the service rep, it takes all of 5 minutes and they could even do it while I was having my oil changed on Friday. Come to find out on Friday, they cannot do it while I...
