  1. Buying my first Wrangler after wanting one my whole life

Congrats, as stated already time will go fast. I also waited a long time before buying my first Jeep and wish I would have got one years ago. My Viper was great on a sunny nice summer day but my Jeep is great on any day of any season :like:
  2. JL Wrangler vs New Ford Bronco

Not sure about the Bronco's on trails as we don't have many major trails around here but I'm starting to see a few on the road. I have no problem giving credit where credit is due and when it comes to overall looks of the Bronco well lets just say there is no credit due.....they just don't have...
  3. Who actually uses A/C?

If I'm hot I use it, if I'm not I don't.....don't matter if top is on or not. Unless you live at the north pole why not order it with a/c. It's a nice option to have and most certainly will be better for resale.
  4. Which do you think was the "best" Wrangler?

The best Wrangler is the one that has your name on the title.
  5. When do you REFUEL?

I refuel any time I'm around a gas station that has good 91 octane or higher. That's sometimes hard to find where I live. Hell I've fill up when it's at 3/4 tank several times.
  6. I finally understand why people hate mall crawlers

Lots of things are bought and not used for what they are intended for....like duct tape, lol. I got friends who off road and friends who keep their Wranglers super clean both are into their rides for different reasons and have owned jeeps for many years. It don't matter what you do with your...
  7. Choices! 35s, Lift, or Winch?

Very smart thinking.....^^^^winner of best advice on this thread^^^^
  8. First time Jeep owner...

Nice ride, welcome to the group
  9. Choices! 35s, Lift, or Winch?

35's with no lift. Rubi's are built for it and they look great with them, unless your wheeling, then winch first and lift with 35's at same time later.
  10. 2 more months of winter...tick,tick,tick...

After many years of dealing with many Iowa winters I have grown to hate winter! It used to drag on for soooo long. Now that I'm older it seems to fly by and that kinda scares me, lol. In a few more years I hope to spend my winters with no doors or top in Arizona, I've seen enough snow I sure as...
  11. They say "it never rains in California..."

"everytime it rains, someone rolls something" they must be rolling a joint if they are putting the chains on the wrong tires!!!:LOL:
  12. Finally got my dream car!

Congrats and welcome to the group. Enjoy the ride.
  13. Guess Who I ran into today

crazy, good thing you got the video for evidence ;)
  14. Additional HP?

I just needed a couple more horses....
  15. Additional HP?

The engine is a big air compressor, the better you can get air in and out is the easiest small performance increases. Change out your air box and exhaust to breathe better. Keep it simple. These are easy performance mods you can do yourself and will give noticeable results.
  16. Giving your baby to the dealer

If your a do it yourself kinda guy save your money and build a tall garage with a hoist you will thank yourself the rest of your life. Its a one-time purchase and it makes routine maintenance fun. I haven't been to a dealer oil change in over 30 years.
  17. (for those living in snow only): how often do you take your rig to the car wash in the winter?

Every snow event is different, if its sloppy, or cold, or if you hit the Fastlane on salty roads or just drove slow so it didn't splash out into every little area it can get to. If I been on the salt roads I will wash it right away especially if the weekend is close and it can sit clean for a...
  18. Fob doesn't work below freezing?

Put a battery in it and move on to your next tragedy. No big deal. My wife's new durango had a low fob battery 2 months past purchace.
  19. JLU wrangler steering and handling

I bought my Rubicon new in 2019. I have never had a complaint about steering (or anything) since then. I added Fuel wheels and 35" mt's and still steers great FOR A JEEP. A Jeep will never handle like a car, Its not engineered to, its engineered to be the most capable 4x4 in the world and it is...
  20. When You're in a "Mixed Marriage"

Your damn right about that Steve! I really don't care to ever see snow again. I'm just a few years away from Arizona winters somewhere in Casa Grande area is my plan :like:
