  1. SOLD - 2018 JLUR Hard top w/ Roll-N-Jack removal system (DFW)

So I recently purchased a Roll-N-Jack removal system for my unpainted black hard top, as I need a way to easily put it on/remove it when I'm switching it out with my soft top. My wife sees me doing this and asks when I'm realistically ever going to use the hard top. I stared blankly, and it was...
  2. Texas SOLD: 2018 JLUR Hard top w/ Roll-N-Jack removal system (DFW)

It works great. Check out the videos that are out there that show how easy it makes it. I was certainly impressed, so it sucks to come to the realization that I was only going to use it to store the hard top, rather than its intended purpose of easily taking off/putting on the top.

  4. Rollnjack Hardtop Lift

That’s a concern of mine as well. I could imagine if anything, just putting plywood in between the contact points and the top would prevent any issues. Hopefully it’s only on the structural supports of the top, though.
  5. Rollnjack Hardtop Lift

Just backed it. I hope it ships in June, as currently projected.
  6. (DFW) Set of roof rails and 2x kayak holder for WK2 Grand Cherokee $20 local

I no longer have my WK2, but I still have these roof rails w/ kayak holders hanging around. They're adjustable and will fit similar sized vehicles, but I can only confirm they fit a WK2. Worked great, but no longer have a use. $20 DFW local pickup. PM if interested.
  7. JLU (4DR) (DFW) MOPAR All-weather front and rear floor mats (BLACK LOGO)

I have a set of brand new black logo MOPAR floor mats for a JL 4 door. These are pretty hard to find, compared to the normal red logo mats. Here is what they look like: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/floor-mats-liners/6bp46tx7ad-mopar-all-weather-front-and-rear-floor-mats-w-black-logo I'm...
  8. Texas SOLD: 2018+ Wrangler JL grill, brand new, coated w/ bed liner

SOLD I bought this with the intention of putting it on my 18 JL, but I ended up just scuffing up and using my stock grill instead. This has several coats of spray on bed liner over primer, and looks fantastic. Will definitely hold up to rocks and prevent chipping. It's OEM and the MOPAR number...
  9. Should i buy A Bestop Trektop NX Soft Top

Just to update everyone, Bestop replaced my top w/ a new one. I finally got around to installing it, and it's a ton better. Every single problem I had with the last one has been fixed. No more flapping from either fabric or window, and the tailgate bar seals up perfectly with the tailgate. They...
  10. Should i buy A Bestop Trektop NX Soft Top

For the seal, I figured out you can pinch the channel back together, as it just gets loose. I used a pair of pliers with moderate pressure along the entire seal, then put it back on. It's good to go again.
  11. Should i buy A Bestop Trektop NX Soft Top

What was the specific issue you were having? What part fixed it? They’re sending an entire new unit, but if I only need a part or two, I’d assume they’d want the rest back. I’d hate for the company to take a loss on my order if it’s a simple fix.
  12. Should i buy A Bestop Trektop NX Soft Top

Just to update everyone, Bestop is sending me a complete replacement, which is fantastic news. It's nice to see a company do the right thing and stand behind their product. It should be here in 2-3 days, so I will update this thread when I get a chance to install it.
  13. Should i buy A Bestop Trektop NX Soft Top

Hey all, I just wanted to post an update. I have been trying since January to get my Trektop working as advertised, and all to no avail. The problem with the flapping and clanking have only gotten worse as the weather has warmed (I'm assuming warmer weather gives more slack to the fabric). A...
  14. Will a Warn VR-8S winch fit the Rubicon’s steel bumper?

It quickly became my concern when the cable was pulled away from where I routed it, I'm guessing while doing some off-roading. It allowed the cable enough slack that it was touching the pulley, and over time it wore down the sheathing. This led to my Jeep becoming inoperable at a stoplight in...
  15. Will a Warn VR-8S winch fit the Rubicon’s steel bumper?

I zip tied it a couple times near the bottom, just to make sure it didn’t have any wiggle room to find that pulley. Other than that, there don’t seem to be any problem areas to look out for.
  16. Will a Warn VR-8S winch fit the Rubicon’s steel bumper?

I honestly don’t remember what I did to get the wires that way. I think I just pulled them down from underneath and then zip-tied them. As far as the route, what you described is exactly what I did. Just be sure to zip-tie along the way so the wires aren’t able to hit the pulley (I made that...
