  4. 35 inch tires going on, wheel question

That sounds like what they may have told me. Thanks!
  5. Family Friendly Badge of Honor Trail Near Moab

Hey guys/gals. I have a family road trip to Moab and Park City, Utah later this month. I would like to hit one or two Badge of Honor trails while we are in the Moab area. From what I have read, Fins and Things may be the easiest of these trails. What is your experience? Are there any others that...
  6. 35 inch tires going on, wheel question

Interesting. I asked them why they needed to remove it but I can't remember the exact reason. Seem like it had something to do with using the machine that puts the tire on the wheel or the balancing machine maybe.
  7. 35 inch tires going on, wheel question

yes, they will need to remove the "beauty ring" before mounting the tires. My Discount Tire had no issue doing this for me but I have heard others say that they made the customer remove them. It's not hard to do but it takes a few minutes per wheel. My 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers where slightly...
  8. 392 real world MPG

So I just crossed 800 miles on the odometer. In mixed (mostly city) driving, I am averaging 14.5 MPG. Did 200 miles on the highway yesterday and averaged 16.5 mpg with speeds ranging from 65 to 80 mph and one 20 minute period of bumper to bumper traffic due to a wreck. I'm thinking 17 to 18 mpg...
  9. Dealer says best to wait for 22's

Jeep could definitely do that, but not for $75k. If they built a $100k version with all the upgrades you mention, people would then complain that it's not the suspension they wanted, it's not the exhaust they wanted, it's not the bumpers they wanted, etc. This way you get to choose which...
  10. 37's On My Wrangler 392 *No Lift/Stock Wheels

He’s probably referring to the KO2s which are definitely smaller.
  11. 392 real world MPG

I tend to agree and I would love to see someone test this out. My only concern is the extra strain on the rear gear box/axle.
  12. 37's On My Wrangler 392 *No Lift/Stock Wheels

That makes more sense to me. Seems like longer springs without adjusting the other components would create some issues.
  13. 37's On My Wrangler 392 *No Lift/Stock Wheels

I enjoyed the video! I was surprised to learn that the 392 doesn't have a true lift kit, just longer springs. I look forward to seeing which lift you put on your rig.
  14. What modifications are you planning for your 392?

You mentioned maybe going to 40's. Will you use spacers instead of adding a lift?
  15. What modifications are you planning for your 392?

Do you have your eye on a specific lift? I'd like to see what Off Road Evolution/EVO comes up with for this rig.
  16. What modifications are you planning for your 392?

I was wondering the same. The 2.5s look awesome as well and are quite a bit less expensive.
  17. What modifications are you planning for your 392?

Those are bad ass! Let us know how it rides after installation.
  18. Painted 392 Exhaust? UPDATE: I painted mine!

So I painted mine this weekend. Came out great IMO. I used 2 coats of 2000 degree flat black spray paint. After curing that following the directions on the can and then waiting 24 hours, I added 2 more coats of 500 degree gloss black spray paint. It was probably overkill to use the 2000 degree...
  19. What modifications are you planning for your 392?

Sam, which ditch light mounts are you using? I like the KC Hilites A pillar mount but it isn't compatible with this hood. Thanks!
