  2. Sun shade for JL Wrangler

I got the spiderweb shade one piece because they recommended it over the two, to each his own. I had the one piece on JK and having one tight piece of fabric seems to keep flapping down and no gaps to burn your neck. I also got the door skins from them that are specifically for the Rancho doors.

  5. Am I a good candidate for an ecodiesel?

My diesel is a garage queen. Took delivery in January 2020 and have 5k miles. They are fine to sit for a minute. I have a commuter car.
  6. Permanently remove auto start stop system

You are best off with getting the tazer or similar product. It’s very simplistic, can fix speedometer if you have larger tires, and installs in minutes. Although we love hacks, trying to hack the ecu or outsmart it is best done by people who know how (like the creators of the tazer). I have the...
  7. Gladiator grill on JL install

Not at all, it goes under it.
  8. Gladiator grill on JL install

From the factory they are behind the front grill and exposed to constant rain, so I’d assume so. The front of my bumper is also pretty high, so if I’m submerged for long, so are my door sills, which isn’t good.
  9. Gladiator grill on JL install

Okay, so this isn’t an actual grill swap. The gladiator inserts (larger honeycomb) are a bolt on item that can be had for $45 total. The install is very easy, the grill comes off with only 6 clips (YouTube has a bunch of videos). To get the inserts off, it’s only a few clips and a few torx...

  11. Anyone towing with their Diesel?

  13. Ecodiesel air filter number

How’s your jeep doing? Any oil residue on underside of engine?
  14. Should I regear?

I’m on 40s and went to 4.88. I would regear to 4.56 for 37s. You can easily forget what the power is supposed to feel like if you drive it a while on stock gearing like you have. You won’t regret it. Costs $1400 in Riverside, Ca.
  15. Who can ID this 3.0 fluid?

Looks like oil might be seeping/venting from a nearby gasket
  16. AFe CAI for diesel JL

I have the RockKrawler 3.5” with an extra 1/2” spacer so there’s no sag. On 40s.
  17. AFe CAI for diesel JL

no, they only have that for the 3.6. I wouldn’t expect that to come out for the diesel (anytime soon or ever) based on how few diesels there are out there compared to the 3.6.
  18. AFe CAI for diesel JL

the CAI still provides an improvement on sound and airflow... as far as filtration, probably not as good as stock. Regardless, S&B is working on mine and the prototype was tested yesterday. I posted a before and after on cutting the factory hood louvers, see my Jeeps insta page below if...
