    My Jeep came with rock sliders. I never intended to do challenging off roading so I thought about swapping them for a step. However they have saved my Jeep a few times off road so I will now keep them. If you are not doing challening off roading, then steps are better.

    The difference between a JK and JL is like chalk and cheeze. Don't get a JK. Go to the dealers lot and negotiate on an existing vehicle.

    Both are good. Onroad, painted looks great! Offroad, painted gets scratched. Also the front of the rear mud guards, will be hit by stones from the front tyres.

    In a tight spot I drive in forwards. If it is extra tight my wife will guide me. If I reverse in than I cannot open the tailgate because a wall will be in the way! I drive forwards into my garage. Firstly its the exhaust and secondly, I can open the tailgate.

    So, the phones are fine, the cables are fine, the ports are fine, Android Auto is fine. That just leaves Apple Car Play. .

    I have a Samsung phone and use Android Auto. As a result I use the USB-C port. Has worked perfectly for almost 2 years now.
