  2. Moab next week (March 9-12)

I will be in Moab next week for the 1st time and are looking for somebody that want to do a few trails together. Nothing serious since I will have my family with me. I am thinking Fins 'n Things, Hells Revenge (other ?) if weather permits.
  3. JL Rubicon on Method Wheels...let's see em!

For what it's worth - I added custom "rings" to Method 307s.

  5. Westin WJ2 Full Width Bumper On JLU Sport (Pics)

Sorry, I can't help you there. I did not install it myself. My understanding was that they struggled a little with the rear bumper and tire carrier, but the front went smooth.
  6. Westin WJ2 Full Width Bumper On JLU Sport (Pics)

I have it as well with the sliders and rear bumper. Very happy with the bumper, very solid. It is on a Rubicon though, so it leaves a small gap between the bumper and the fenders. Pictures below.
  7. What are your thoughts? 6x6 for $150k

Too big, too much... Like the concept, but the execution here is not great, imho.
  8. Test drove Land Rover Defender

Agree - It is really a Discover LR5, not a Defender...
  9. Test drove Land Rover Defender

I generally agree that it should not be too expensive. However, I would be surprised if it is that low, just because of the volume they will produce (~30k/y). They will have to import these as finished vehicles, and I am not sure what they will do for a dealer network. If it comes in ~$60k...
  10. Test drove Land Rover Defender

I would not say that too fast... The older Land Rover Defenders are pretty capable. Depending on what they do with regards to ground clearance, lockers etc., this could be very good off-road.
  11. Test drove Land Rover Defender

Oh, I'm sure it will... And if it is a true Land Rover Defender replacement, it will leak oil all over the showroom floor. :CWL:
  12. Test drove Land Rover Defender

I agree - I hope these guys make it! And bring it to the US. link to a video:

  14. JL Rubicon on Method Wheels...let's see em!

It is so you can have access to the valve stem on the one side and replicated on the other side to make sure it stays balanced.
  15. Bike Rack Options??

I finally bit the bullet and got 1-Ups for the roof. Mounted it with quick release bike saddle cam action bolts - Worked really well. Here are the bolts with a strut nut that fits in the Rhino Rack pioneer platform. Here is the bottom of the 1-Up roof rack. Mounted on the platform...
  16. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Put on a Rhino Rack Pioneer platform and 1-Up bike racks... and it still fits in the garage.
  17. JL Rubicon on Method Wheels...let's see em!

No problems... I originally wanted to add motobilt rock rings which did not fit, so I had to make it myself. Here is the final product. Had it laser cut at sendcutsend.com and painted with rattle cans.
  18. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I think if you open the lid, you run the risk of overfilling it...
  19. New 2020 Land Rover Defender vs Jeep JL Wrangler

Agree with this! I understand Range Rovers, Discovery, Evoque etc. and the reasons they design it that way. The Defender should be a very different vehicle and they failed in my view.
  20. New 2020 Land Rover Defender vs Jeep JL Wrangler

Top gear got to drive the new Defender where I grew up...
