  1. 35’s with 8 speed transmission and 3.43 gears

You're right, its probably 6th gear at that speed. Most of the time it shifts into 7th when im pushing 80+ mph. Either way, no reason to regear in my experience.
  2. 35’s with 8 speed transmission and 3.43 gears

I run 315/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers on my Sport which is technically only a 34.6in tire but lets round up to 35in. I can confirm that 8th gear is a rare occurrence on the highway, usually only happens if you are coasting down a hill at a good speed. 7th is typically the highest I see which...
  3. How many people have already bought and traded in their Gladiators?

Yeah it was frustrating driving that thing on a daily basis. Exactly as you said. Give it gas and nothing, then put the pedal to the floor and it downshifts into first and you are bouncing the redline. Its just infuriating because Toyota literally didnt have to change a single thing with the...
  4. Gladiator JT Steel Skid Plate on a Wrangler JL - Install & Pictures

Ok cool 36 inches wide is what I wanted to know. Ill have to check how wide my cut plastic one is.
  5. How many people have already bought and traded in their Gladiators?

Oh they are worth getting into. I had a '17 taco TRD-OR double cab and HATED that limp dick transmission with a passion. Didn't even own it a full year.
  6. Gladiator JT Steel Skid Plate on a Wrangler JL - Install & Pictures

Wondering how the clearance on the OEM skid plate interacts with larger tires? I know with my 35s I had to trim both sides of the plastic bumper valence so that the wheels wouldn't rub into it at full lock. Not something you can do with the metal skid plate.
  7. Is EVERYONE having the paint bubbling problems?

Hoping not to jinx myself. I've had my '20 JLUS for a full year (delivered 28MAR20) and I havent had the hinge paint issues yet....However my Jeep is garaged and washed frequently. I can tell you that my previous rig, 2014 JKUR DID have hinge paint issues maybe two years into ownership (not...

This pic was taken when I first put the lift and wheels on but so its not as fresh now as it is here but you get the idea. AEV Pintlers in black on my granite JLUS. Wheels are 17x8 Tires 315/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers.
  9. 2.5 AEV suspension system vs 2.5 icon stage 2 suspension system

There is a thread dedicated to the AEV 2.5 RT kit if you search the forum. I have had it for almost a year on my rig and love it.
  10. 2012 Wrangler colors were cool

Wish they brought back Copperhead Pearl Metallic. My '14 JKUR was that color and I would have bought it again.

lol no, that mileage is after everything else believe it or not. My wife prefers we take her vehicle on most trips because she doesn't like the ride quality with a lift and 35' mud tires after a couple hours. Fine with me.

Will have owned my '20 JLUS a full calendar year in a couple weeks. Currently sitting at 4700 miles. My job said I can only physically come into the office once a week so that mileage is a result of teleworking and no commute.
  13. 2022 Color Wish List

My previous rig was a '14 JKUR in Copperhead Pearl Metallic. I loved that color and had it been available when I got my '20 JKUS I would have chosen it again without hesitation. A close second would have been Amp'd, another only-2014 color which I liked. Reminded me of the Inca Gold color on...
  14. Almost 8K miles I have not ever had a better experience than the JL

4200 miles on my 2020 JLU Sport so far. No issues except having to replace the driver's side fender turn signal bulb that burnt out.
  15. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 80th Anniversary - Where Are They?

My dealer has a red one: Not really all that impressive of an appearance package in my opinion.
  16. AEV 2.5"

You'll want a front adjustable track bar so that the front diff can be re-centered.
  17. 2021 Sport S Tail Lights?

Safety package gets you rear LED tail lights.
  18. AEV 2.5"

Maybe because the Dynatrac lift kit comes in that sweet military canvas bag and the AEV doesnt, lol. Honestly if I had to come up with an honest answer, probably because the Dynatrac kit uses Fox shocks which are more mainstream popular than Bilstein.
  19. Let’s see lifted granite crystal metallics!

My contribution: AEV 2.5" RT Dual Sport lift kit. AEV Pintler wheels and 315/70/17 Nitto TG.
