  1. Help! I am thinking of selling my customized 2021 JLU so I can buy the 392. Where do I sell it for profit?

People selling their jeeps for a premium are able to so because they are in stock or near stock form. Especially if they got their jeeps at the start of covid when auto prices were down. Buy when they couldn't move the cars, sell it back when they can't keep up with production due to parts...
  2. changing sport suspension

Yeah, I've read so many different numbers about the Mopar lift. Maybe someday we'll get a pic of equal model JLs with a Mopar and a Dynatrac side by side, with the same tires. I'm not holding my breath, that's a lot to ask. But I do hope someday someone could get those side by side to put the...
  3. changing sport suspension

I'd imagine a touch of that comes from the tire selection as well. But even with Rubi tires I'd think you're probably still sitting about an inch higher.
  4. changing sport suspension

Thank you for showing this next to a stock Rubicon! I wish we could see every mod directly next to a stock Rubi. I know not everyone gets the opportunity to show that, so I appreciate the pic. Also love the look. I'd imagine the Mopar lift gets pretty close to the Dynatrac size wise on a...
  5. Just got home from Bronco event...

That would be interesting to see, but who knows if they'll do it. I'm also curious what changes (if any) they add to the '22. I know I'd be bummed if I finally got my '21 and then the '22s were announced with some cool updates within a month or two. I'm not sure about the Ford release cycles...
  6. Just got home from Bronco event...

I'm glad you pointed out that the blue one was blue. I would have assumed that was black based on the pictures. It'll be interesting to see how/if they refine the interior. Or if other crowds tend to like it.
  7. Owners show off your new 4xe!

Random question, but does anyone have a pic of a stock 4xe next to a stock gas Rubicon. I believe the 4xe is supposed to stand a bit taller. I'd actually love to see a 392, 4xe, Rubicon, Willys and Sport all in a line to get a since of the height between all of them, but it seems like a lot to ask.
  8. BILLET SILVER Wrangler JL Club

I know most people want wider stance and biggest tires possible, but that lift/tire size looks great, whatever it is.
  9. my new jeep

Did you just want the wider stance, or did you get some rubbing with 285/75/17?
  10. JL Wrangler vs New Ford Bronco

How many Jeep Wrangler purchasers have previously owned a Wrangler? Or a Bronco? Especially if we just look at 2021 model year purchases. Not everyone buys the newer version of the same model more than once. A lot of people buy their first truck/car/sedan/sports car/convertible/SUV/etc when...
  11. New Bronco on display at Costco

That plus they are so far behind schedule and everyone is having production issues, so stock will probably be limited until next year too. It's been a tough start for the Bronco.
  12. New Bronco on display at Costco

Funny enough, I just posted about this branding issue in another thread earlier today. Another countless example of the Sport fake out watering down their hype. My post from another thread:
  13. 255 80 17 Stock rims no lift?

This thread links to a few other threads covering this topics. Pics are in a few of them. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/255-80r17.65316/#post-1383928
  14. Supply & Demand has led to a $100K 392

Image of the sport on this listing is funny to me, especially with their asking price. Guess they must really have some customers that feel $25-30K is worth not waiting a couple months.
  15. Talk me down!!

I would 100% reorder if I was in your shoes. But before I did, I'd honestly do a little homework and roll up to the dealership with some ammo. Two things I'd research, with associated lines for the dealer... - Closest possible match off the lot, preferably at another dealer. Line: "If I'm...
  16. JL Wrangler vs New Ford Bronco

I think Ford made a branding mistake with the Bronco Sport rolling out. Between this forum and people I know personally, I've lost count of the number of times I've heard someone dismiss the new Bronco because they saw a Bronco Sport in the wild and basically said "that's it?" So many people...
  17. Anyone else get overwhelmed?

Real first world problems, lol. Luckily you could probably find a shop to pick up some of the install work if the time crunch is the main issue. Worst case is that some parts sit in the garage a few weeks while you're out having fun! They'll be there when you get back :)
  18. Recommended lift kit

I agree, this test was very informative. I wish they had the Mopar lift in the mix though. That would have really rounded out the testing. But I'm still impressed with the massive scale they pulled off for that single test to produce 2 videos.
  19. 1 month with the Wrangler 4XE

Initially the 4xe didn't interest me, but I'll be watching it continue to develop over the next couple years. I like point 6, a 35-45 mile range. I think that's pretty attainable as battery tech continues to advance. That point would also cover longer commutes, which would really peak my interest.
  20. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Yeah, but I think referring to a glitch as a "price increase" is a little misleading too.
