  1. I finally understand why people hate mall crawlers

It’s not like it offends me, but I am incredulous. For the price of a wrangler there are so many other options that make infinitely better daily drivers. I guess it’s a look, but the only reason I put up with the terrible road mannerisms of my wrangler is because it’s a beast off road and that...
  2. Presenting the AWE Exhaust Suite for the JL/JLU. Available now. [Videos, Sound Clips, Dyno]

Sounds good, are you running the 3.6? I’m desperate to beef up the sound of my sad little 2.0
  3. Presenting the AWE Exhaust Suite for the JL/JLU. Available now. [Videos, Sound Clips, Dyno]

looking forward to hearing the trail edition for the 2.0 engine, for those of us who were suckers enough to get that engine on our Rubicon 🙄
  4. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

I’m not so sure it is an elevation issue. I have had this issue in Idaho Springs which is only about 7500 feet. It seems like it is an E torque issue which really should have nothing to do with oxygen levels. I have noticed if I don’t deflate my oversize tires as much or not at all, I have LESS...
  5. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

Same here. I shut off the engine immediately for a minute or two and then turn it on and let it re charge.... this usually happens pretty quickly for me though, usually in 4 low crawling slowly Up a hill, and my engine typically just shuts off before I realize it’s happening. Super fun to deal...
  6. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

100% correct. In all of these cases, the issue corrects itself once we get on the road and start traveling at highway speed, So by the time we get to the dealership there is no code for them to read. It is obviously a regular and consistent issue but with no code to read the dealership is...
  7. Half Doors Recommendation

Good to know, While not ideal, they seem like the best available option if I want to open the Jeep up on a point to point trail and have weather protection on the way there and back.
  8. Half Doors Recommendation

Thanks for the pictures of the best top doors. I’ve been looking for some soft upper windows to be able to takeoff on the trail but provides some amount of wind protection on the way TO the trail. When I have backseat passengers I feel bad for them because with the doors on they are so boxed in...
  9. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

This is great info. I live in Golden and take mine to Auto Nation Jeep West also. It’s been a struggle trying to re create the issues that we are all having. Letting it idle makes sense. I’ll give it a go!
  10. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

I hate to say my man, but as somebody who has been dealing with this for over a year, and has discussed this same issue with a couple other people, I’m afraid the response we all get from the dealership is “can’t reproduce, no problem found”. If you get it in there quick enough the codes will be...
  11. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

Yeah, hopefully. But by then I will probably be in a new Ford Bronco at this rate.
  12. Low Voltage Issue on the 2.0L - Turbo Boost Lag

I just found this thread, but I have been having the same issue for a year since I bought my 2019. JLU running 37 inch tires and the 2.0 engine. It’s only an issue when I’m rock crawling. Sometimes it happens three hours in, sometimes it happens three minutes in. Same deal, on an incline or...
  13. Been out of a Wrangler for 2 years. Ready to get back in. WANT 4 cyl. CHANGE MY MIND!

Good point. Seems like they should eliminate the e torque on Rubicon models. Does the 3.6 L have e torque?
  14. Been out of a Wrangler for 2 years. Ready to get back in. WANT 4 cyl. CHANGE MY MIND!

Good point. When it works it’s great. And at 10,000 feet in elevation the 2.0 has a big advantage. I just hope they fix the e torque issue. Another poster noted that that is the issue. To be fair I have to be crawling for two or three hours straight before it has problems
  15. Been out of a Wrangler for 2 years. Ready to get back in. WANT 4 cyl. CHANGE MY MIND!

If you plan on doing any significant rock crawling, run from the 2.0 like it’s the plague. If you are just cruising around town or doing some light off roading, then the 2.0 is great. Lots of pep, even hauls butt up the mountain highways. Does 80 mph up a grade like it’s nothing; big change...
