  1. Florida 2021 Sport Wheels Free to a good (or bad) home

I have a set of 5 JL Sport wheels free to whomever wants them. I pulled them off at around 800 miles to put on some Rubicon take-offs.
  2. Hardtop / rear window rattle?

I'm assuming it means "dielectric grease" they sell it at every auto parts store to keep the sockets of light bulbs from corroding.
  3. Whats coming in 2022?

Maybe Jeep will finally fix the "death wobble" and introduce an Independent Front Suspension in 2022. Think of the comfort riding down the Interstate, and how well the Jeep will handle through the curves? That and a "mommy mirror" in the JLU. I'm turning the force field on now!
  4. Condition when picked up (brand new) at the dealer?

Ours had 25 miles on it when I took it for the test drive. Drove like a dream and looked great. Got the deal I wanted and took our Jeep home in time to surprise the kids at school dismissal.
  5. Whats coming in 2022?

Whooo! This thread is spiraling out of control, I think they should close it. On-topic, for 2022 Jeep should include LED lights across the Wrangler lineup. Come on Jeep, this is 2021 not 2001. Better yet Jeep, just redesign the speaker housings to hold STANDARD SPEAKERS so that we can...
  6. Whats coming in 2022?

Google answered my question, it's made by Getrag, bummer as it would be nice if it was made by Aisin, so that Jeep could just bolt it onto the Wrangler if it had the same bolt pattern and spline. :)
  7. Whats coming in 2022?

I agree, rubber floors would be nice. I had rubber floors in my 1995 S-10 V6, and they were awesome. Nothing a little Dawn and a scrub brush couldn't make look like new. I think the Bronco is a little too "modern" for my tastes. I don't know what I think of the electric transfer case, I...
  8. Whats coming in 2022?

That would be easy to add with the 4.10s on the Rubi. Take the standard Rubicon, put it on a 2" lift, put on 35's and call it the Rubicon Xtreme, retail it for 3K more than the standard Rubi. Maybe they'll give us some gearing options from the factory. Unfortunately the 6MT seems to be in...
  9. Whats coming in 2022?

If you read my subsequent post, I explain the "why". Not everybody goes "all-in" on everything. If someone wants to daily drive a Rubicon fully tricked out and never hit a dirt road with it, more power to them. There are a subset of us out here that prefer to take the other side of the...
  10. Whats coming in 2022?

I like where you're going with this, kindof a death by a bunch of paper cuts. Seriously though, it isn't my style. I don't do a lot of off road activities and being a poser isn't my style. Nothing against those who like the look though, to each their own. My 2014 Tundra is the 4.6 V8, I...
  11. Gun holster for JL Center console

That totally can't be legal in California if it has a weapon in it.
  12. 2021 JLU Rubicon w/ major Uconnect issue

+1 on checking the fuses, the majority of my fuses were loose as well. I checked my 3 other vehicles 2 Hondas and a Toyota, none of them had any fuses loose. @JeepCares should see what the factory can do about making sure that the fuses are all properly seated before sending Jeep Wranglers...
  13. Whats coming in 2022?

I agree about the 392 being a "special Jeep", I don't think Jeep is going to make as many as they can sell. The reason that I believe this is that FCA just got from under the thumb of Tesla by not needing to buy CO2 emissions credits in merging with PSA Group and becoming Stellantis. The...
  14. Whats coming in 2022?

Not ALL people want the best they can afford, just most people. I could have bought any Jeep I wanted, even a 392 Rubi, cash. I bought a 6MT Sport, only thing I didn't want was the steel wheels, so I put some Rubi takeoffs on within a month.
  15. Big price increases??

I haven't seen any solid rumors on big differences for 2022, other than the price will certainly be higher. Anybody out there know of any "gotta haves" for 2022?
  16. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Has the website online "build and price" tool updated the new prices yet? We are considering Jeep for my wife now that I got mine. She wants one a little more well appointed then mine.
  17. I only use this once per year

Or if the clutch based LSD gets destroyed in 40K mi?
  18. Ragtop partially removed?

+1 on "Safari Mode" It is useful for not getting sun-burned in the Florida sun. ALSO, if I'm going to be in a place for a long time (i.e. getting a haircut, getting a lot of groceries, church, etc.) I quickly flip my top from all the way open "full-Sunrider position" to "safari mode" in order...
  19. New Bronco on display at Costco

I drive to the UP of Michigan a lot and it is great what you see on I-94, I-75, or US-23 in Southern Michigan between Ann Arbor and Detroit. So many new stuff with M-plates on them, some obscured a bit or a little covered, other stuff pre-production vehicles that you only see online till a few...
  20. Greed will get you in the end.

Unless it changed recently, employee pricing has many different tiers and is a bit of a fringe benefit when working at a car manufacturer. My family is from Michigan originally and we've had numerous family members employed by what used to be "the big 3". Dealership empoyees get pricing deals...
