  1. 4xe speedometer calibration

If "all" you're getting it for is speedo recal, then yeah. Just go to the dealership if all you need is a tire size change. But if you want all the other features or the ability to change speedo at will (tire swaps [winter/summer, on-road/off-road], this pays for itself.
  2. Thoughts on comparable shocks to the Bilstein 5100s

Thanks all for the feedback - I pulled the trigger on some Bilsteins, I just had to source all four from three different vendors as no one had the entire set in stock.
  3. 4xe speedometer calibration

Cool, I'm going to need it. I've got 285/75R18s on Fuels and lots of lift stuff sitting in the garage, just no 4xe, yet - it's currently in "Framing".
  4. changing sport suspension

People who report 3-3.5" on the Mopar lift are normally reporting their "net" lift which includes taller tires as well as unsettled new springs. I've heard enough really specific measurements that put the Mopar consistently at 2-2.5" lift (only the lift, adjusting for tires) after about 2-3k miles.
  5. Thoughts on comparable shocks to the Bilstein 5100s

The 5100s seem to be out of stock for a few months, and are ~$99 each. Wondering peoples thoughts on comparables. The bilsteins have some of the best on-road manners in my experience having them on two trucks and a 2014 wrangler. They replaced Ranchos on one truck and were so much smoother on...
  6. Online wheel/tire shops that don't charge tax to Ohio?

Are there any wheel/tire shops online that don't charge tax to Ohio still? There are a few shops for other products that still don't charge tax, wondering if the same is true for wheel/tire packages. Can't seem to find any.
  7. 4xe tire size change issue

The reason I asked is because I suspect that a programmer would have to be specific for the 4xe (or updated to be able to program the 4xe). I've seem several posts to that point (people waiting for programmers that work for the 4xe)
  8. 4xe tire size change issue

Was the programmer specific for the 4xe?
  9. First EPIC Rubicon 4XE Build & Thoughts: 35s w/ 2.5" Teraflex Spacer Lift

Great vid. Interesting about the drive shaft - what will Jeep have to say about that issue considering there's no indication that it's an issue with the Mopar lift - granted the Mopar lift is only '2 inches' but history has shown that to be more around '2.5-3 inches' - but that said, with the...
  10. Are these the correct TPMS sensors for my stock 2021 Rubicon wheels?

Are they apparently still on national backorder? Can't find 29093's anywhere.
  11. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

It should have always been more expensive - the initial release was a "special pricing" and I think we're seeing the "actual" price now. A comparatively equipped regular JL was practically the same price as the 4xe until now. Now there's about a $2k-2.5k premium over the regular, which in...
  12. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Luckily my dealer said they'd honor the original deal even with the price increase, so as an individual case, I'm good. However, the price hike was unfortunate.
  13. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

They didn't know. We built the sheet on Saturday and it built under the old pricing, I have a copy. But the system was down to submit, so they submitted it yesterday and it came back with the new pricing. They didn't even know it until I pointed it out.
  14. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Also, the invoice pricing went up even more in percentage wise - old was $47,995 and $45,671, new is $49,805 and $47,951. So base MSRP went up $1810, but invoice went up $2280 - drastically effecting Tread Lightly and Affiliate...Ugh.
  15. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

I just confirmed that the new base MSRP of a Sahara 4xe is $49,805 (compared to the old $47,995). Have it right here on my sold-order build from Saturday that was entered yesterday. Totally Bogus. If I would have known, I would have MADE SURE I went in on Friday instead of Saturday (and the...
  16. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Base Jeep website page for the 4xe still says "starting at $47,995" - the build and price page is usually behind, but not that main page (usually).
  17. $2000 Price Increase For 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Guessing it's a 2022 price increase. 2021 closes in about two weeks I believe.
  18. Jeep Releases Mopar 2" Lift Kit For Wrangler 4xe

It has been my understanding that the Rubicon's suspension is no taller than the Sahara, and the "look" of the height difference comes from the taller tires [33" compared to 32"] and the higher mounted fender flares in the front, and that the Mopar lift resulting in 3-3.5" on Sahara is normally...
  19. 4xe sitting 1" higher than regular JLUs

Yeah, understood. I'm not expecting the slight reported increased height to allow larger tires and wheels. I'm more looking at it from the aspect of it adding additional height to existing kits. For instance, if the 4xe does indeed feature higher spring rates that increase the height approx 1"...
  20. 4xe sitting 1" higher than regular JLUs

And I'm curious if the front and rear is centered properly, not that 1" higher is that big of a deal - I'm guessing they used the same trackbars, etc.
