Another one bites the dust
JLUR 2.0T 38k miles
Service electronic throttle body
Lost turbo and power
I clear the code with my tazer jl. Problem fixed for the last 24hrs.... fingers crossed will remain this way. I think I might sell this Jeep.
@Superchips_Mrktg can I enable aux switches like the tazer? Does the bypass module needs to be plugged 100% of the time?
how does this work with the tazer mini if I want the taser mini plugged all time?
Look it up, I’ve seen engines swapped out reports here in the v6 which it should be a vetted out engine.
the problem with FCA is quality. Engineers may aim for for decent quality in their designs but FCA don’t want to pay for good quality from design to manufacturers. The intent may be there...
Jeep can’t make a Gas engine that wouldn’t have issues (this forum is filled of 3.6 issues, let’s not forget the issues with the aux battery in 18-19), imagine what a hybrid would be.
I would be interested in the 2nd gen of 4xe in 10 more years. I’m sure they have a lot more to learn.
So I took my JLUR to the warranty after removing the JB4 and Tazer JL, left the mishimoto intercooler pipe.
it was the manifold pressure sensor which is one of the sensors the JB4 plugs to.
has anyone had any issues with that sensor?
My dealership said they can only order one part every 11 days. I’m second on the list. So 9/12 they will order the parts and should be in pretty soon.
They didn’t said anything about my tie rod, track bar and drag link from metal cloak or the mismimoto Inter cooler pipe.
Dropped off my JLUR today. The service advisor was nice enough to take it without questions. I told him that I already upgraded drag link, tie rod, and track bars to eliminate the pull to the right but the issue persist and this upgrade will be the last shot before my warranty goes out.
