I didn't buy the hub ring. My thinking on that goes like this...I have had plenty of vehicles that rolled perfectly fine with lug centric wheels. If the ring is necessary, I could always add later. The valve stems, I ordered a new set of tpms sensors for one hole and some regular rubber stems...
I have the adjustment all the way in and the tire still didn't come in contact with the factory bumps. It was only about 1/4" shy of touching. The rubber cane tips that I had used with the Mopar beadlocks and 35" K02's filled the gap.
I will try to get you one in the next couple days. They stick out more than I wanted, but not too bad. I almost ordered black, I think with the black fenders on mine I just wanted a little more contrast.
Yes it does use the factory isolators, my pics don't show them. The machete wheels have 3.5" backspacing and with the 12.5" Wide Nitro's it fell just short of touching them. I added a rubber piece to make them work (cane tip from Lowe's). So far no rattles, but I have only driven 5 miles.
I just completed the install of the MC Sportgate. I am happy with the quality of the parts. They seem strong enough and have a good fit and finish. Here is a pic of the completed product. I did use a body armor LED light ring.
I started this thread and came to the conclusion of many others. I really liked the mopar wheels, but they weren’t going to fit my needs. Here is a pic of what I ended up with. KMC machete with Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
so I FINALLY got this done! here is what I ended up with. I really liked the pic that I posted in my original post, so I made something similar. I liked how the black center cap and lug nuts helped "tie" the black plastic fenders and roof into the color scheme. My wheels came with all chrome...
