  1. Retro Theme JL's- Let's see them

I see more and more of these in Moab lately. I do like the retro looks!
  2. Insight needed from Rubicon owners

It's actually the bracket that bends. All of our fleet vehicles have the same problem, so we shifted to plastic in the rear to save the body. Seems to have worked. A better, slimmer bumper would be ideal and is what I'll do on my own Wrangler.

  4. Op-Ed: Is the JL the BEST JEEP WRANGLER EVER?

I like the Barlow Jeep as the header! We've experienced many of those heat issues here in Moab, for sure! It was more annoying than anything. Mechanically, we've had few issues with our fleet, sometimes things are particular to a single vehicle. I truly believe a Jeep built on Monday isn't...

  11. 3.6L vs 2.0 turbo?? Pros and cons of both??

I would recommend the 3.6l over the 2.0l. Having worked with over 25 Jeeps with both engines, I can say that the 2.0l has had more problems across the fleet, particularly when it gets hot. The 3.6l has a longer track record and works consistently. That being said, I do have a 2.0l at home and...
  12. Introducing Jeep Adventure Academy! School to Provide Essential Off-Roading Instruction to Jeep 4x4 Owners and Enthusiasts

In Moab, we have trainings several times a year through Barlow Adventures, as well as guided trips where you would get some instruction as well, such as Lockhart Basin and the Rubicon.
  13. what exactly do you need for desert driving?

Desert driving requires pretty good tires. I've already cut sidewalls in the BFG stuff. Deserts have sharp rocks and sandpaper like qualities. M/Ts can give you a lot of tread life, but you won't encounter mud frequently in the desert. A/Ts will give you more versatility (but stink in mud)...
