  1. Mopar stock lift 2”

Interesting. I had no idea mopar had a “upgraded” track bar, as I’ve never heard anyone mention it. Is this a real “upgrade” over a stock jeep/rubicon track bar? Longer in length?
  2. I finally understand why people hate mall crawlers

I’m indifferent. The people that strike a nerve with me are those that drive their jeeps or big SUV’s, trucks like sports cars.
  3. How to keep the neighborhood stray cats from sleeping in my doorless Jeep?

Try the tin foil trick. You just have to make your seat undesirable. I'm a cat owner, and I'm guessing the little guy/girl probably just likes the fact that your seat in your door-less jeep is a perch high up from danger and they get a nice view. Whatever you do, please try not to harm the...
  4. LED Pods humming, 3 fuses blown.

Hi All, Just wanted to get some additional opinions to make sure I'm on the right track. I have 2 sets (4 pods) of RIGID DSS pods wired up to aux 3 and aux 4. I was getting a bad connection to aux 3 so I tried to redo my wiring yesterday. I ended up getting a loud hum from my pods and my pods...
  5. Post pics of your Rubicon on 35s no lift

I've been considering doing KC Lights on the factory bull bar just like you. Are those the new Flex Era 4's? I've been wondering if it's possible to fit 4 on there but judging by your photo, looks like 2 max.
  6. MBRP High-Tuck installed:

I hear good things about borla climber touring. Touring if you want quiet, or the sport model for a little noise.
  7. Topless MPG vs With Top On MPG

There is nothing wrong with being conscious of your efficiency, regardless of the fact it’s a wrangler. Don’t mind some of these comments. 4mpg is a little steep, I’d estimate mine to be about a 2-2.5mpg difference from my hardtop to no top. Modularity was a big consideration point when...
  8. When to wax?

As often as you are willing, but by auto detailing standards, no less than twice a year. I use a liquid wax every few months, but wash and use a detailer spray (sealant, PS BeadMaker) every 2-3 weeks. The paint stays slick as ice, and I've had multiple people ask me if It's been ceramic...
  9. Train Horn Yay or Nay?

If you have any regard for other people you won’t do it.
  10. Am I Crazy to want to keep Stock Wheels?

I had similar mindset. Run stock wheels with a good pair of 315s. After much contemplation I decided to get a set of AEV borahs, which I think mimic a very nice clean factory like quality and look. Very happy and there was a subtle increase in ride quality going to a proper width rim for the 315.
  11. JLUR rolls multiple times off potato salad hill

I'm curious and I ask this constructively as I don't have a lot of experience. It seems like people are always anxious to lift and get bigger tires. But is there a point where you really compromise roll potential on the quest for more GC? Let's say this jeep wasn't as lifted, would it have...
  12. Baja Designs lights vs. KC lights. Which set up will be best?

I know you mentioned you need multiple lighting solutions for production. But +1 to someone else mentioning there is such a thing as too much light. From my own experiences, I've learned there is a line between usable and excess lighting. I have the Rigid cowl setup with 4 pods, producing...
  13. F scott robinson jeep in torrance

Lew (Can't remember how to correctly spell his name), from Buena Park Jeep (Premier Jeep) has always been decent with me. Reading so many horror stories about Jeep Service, the bar was set pretty low and while the service times don't always pan out, he's very friendly at the least. Helped me...
  14. What were they thinking?

I'm a firm believer to not be overly critical of design aspects as more often then not, there are perfectly understandable engineering reasons for many of the things we complain about. I just wish there could have been a better solution for the 2nd ESS battery. its a shame to pay a jeep dealer...
  15. 2.0 on 37's with 4:10 gears in a JLUR

I have a stock JLUR 2.0 with aev borahs and nitto ridge grapplers 315/70/17. The wheels are about 34lbs and the tires are 71lbs. Personally, I’m highly attentive to detail and I can notice and feel the heavier weight compared to stock. However, the vehicle is still maintains very good drive...
  16. Ceramic coating pros and cons

If you enjoy routinely washing and waxing your vehicle, it’s not worth it in my opinion. A well maintained wax job is just as good. If you don’t wax regularly, then I just suggest you go and get your vehicle waxed every couple months. It’ll still come out cheaper. Be careful what you read...
  17. Lots of Good Reviews, those Bad Ones though....

I know you are shopping for the Diesel, but since you mentioned 2.0t, I've driven my 2020 for 8000 miles so far, no issues other than the choice to pursue the updated steering gearbox. Getting excellent gas mileage on 315's, relatively speaking.
  18. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Range / Mileage EPA Figures Published

my speculative comment which seems to be debunked already, implied perhaps the gas engine doesn't regen the battery. Not that you can't charge the battery by plugging into a wall.
  19. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Range / Mileage EPA Figures Published

With very limited to no information about real world testing with the 4XE, I'm beginning to wonder if there is no battery regen technology built into this system (something I assumed by default since it's labeled a "hybrid"). Again, would also explain the lousy long range mpg.
  20. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Range / Mileage EPA Figures Published

I suppose one additional data point that isn’t transparent. If you are getting 20mpg with 475 ft/lbs of torque still on tap, then perhaps that’s what I’m missing.
