Looks good, Any ideas on possible specs yet?
  2. JT (Wrangler Truck) pushed to late 2019

yup won't be interested...I intend on buying by end of next calendar year so I'll just cross this off my list. Wonder if this will impact the wagoneer comeback as well.
  3. 2018 Wrangler Drops Camo, Shows Backup Camera, Roofline, Grab Handles, Signs of Foldable Windshield

@JLWranglerJT @Wagler it is required by law to have a backup camera, just another regulation Obama wanted that is going to cause the cost of the new Wrangler to go up. I had steprails on my YJ I used those often enough where I would say that they were worth it. Yes they were the factory...
  4. New Wrangler Pickup spotted?

That's fugly as hell and I hope FCA would know better than to put something out looking like that. Seriously that looks like it was beaten with an ugly stick twice a day for thirty days.
  5. Jeep Wrangler Pickup (JT) production starts Sept. 2018. Will come in 2 and 4 door

I dunno I would expect a reasonable towing capacity comparable to Tacomas and the like. That's really who the JT will be judged against by the general public. I've seen Tacomas towing 21' Cris Craft boats so take from that what we should be expecting. I'd expect it to have a 4000-5500lb...
  6. 2018 Wrangler Drops Camo, Shows Backup Camera, Roofline, Grab Handles, Signs of Foldable Windshield

Awesome, nice to see skme more photos finally. The JLU looks extremely long compared to the JKU or is that just my imagination.
  7. Verified: Engine Start-Stop (ESS) Standard on 3.6L Pentastar 2018 Wrangler Engine

Good luck with that petition, CAFE restrictions etc. are all pushing manufacturers to be as "fuel efficient" as possible. Eventually this will be on all vehicles, but for now is just a select few, most Euro car brands have had this for years it's just now starting to creep into the US market...
  8. Removable doors on JL/JLU?

As Euro/Bulbous as that looks, depending on final result it will sell. The Colorado/Canyon/Tacoma all sell well, I have a feeling the Ranger will match the market and what the majority of people want. From what I hear the Ranger in Australia is an offroading beast in their "Wildcat" trim...
  9. 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JL / JLU) and 2019 Pickup (JT) Info Specs Compilation

How soon would we be seeing it in show rooms in that case? Nov/Dec?
  10. Removable doors on JL/JLU?

Because it is the primary reason I love driving a Jeep, without that I may as well drive something else. TBH I looked at the Ranger/Bronco and I'm intrigued, if it's a better vehicle I would lean towards it. The Removable doors make the Jeep above and beyond for me.
  11. Verified: Engine Start-Stop (ESS) Standard on 3.6L Pentastar 2018 Wrangler Engine

Yes less effective, sorry I mistyped. Living in the Sunbelt you may as well kill the AC how ineffective it becomes just running on the battery. I rarely run AC on max in my vehicle after getting it started and initially cooled down. The fan however usually remains on high with the temp turned...
  12. Removable doors on JL/JLU?

Because I like cruising around on the beach and that's more enjoyable with the doors off. Ease of access into ths water. depending on quality of the vehicles I will lean towards the best vehicle, if what I mean by tossing the other two competitors into the mix.
  13. Verified: Engine Start-Stop (ESS) Standard on 3.6L Pentastar 2018 Wrangler Engine

hopefully there's a way to permanently disable it like people figured out on the F150. Living in FL if you get stuck in traffic it will kill AC.
  14. What to do with new stock wheels and tires if upgrading?

I sold my last stock set on craigslist, plenty of people need new wheels often enough they don't mind buying a new set.
  15. Removable doors on JL/JLU?

If the doors don't come off The JKU or JT (haven't decided which way I go)I'll buy a Ranger or wait for the Bronco.
  16. 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JL) Mule Confirms Six-Speed Manual!

count me in the auto crowd. I am using my Jeep as a DD as well a weekend warrior. I have my fun car in my sights my 69 Cutless, and that DOES have a stick.
  17. Will the JL share the new uconnect infotainment? I hope so.

will it have apple carplay so I can get around paying FCA 1000$ for something my phone can already do for free?
  18. What color do you want for your JL/JLU/JT?

Would love it in Rhino/drab green. That neon green they have now is fugly.
  19. JLU Wrangler testing with larger and wider tires (285/70/17)

If they send them stock with this, this means there's one less mod I need to do myself. I'm liking what Jeep is doing for this Wrangler more and more.
  20. Manley: 2018 Wrangler reveal might come at special event

It was announced at the Detroit Auto Show in Jan, just googled it.
