See my post on this thread, #156. I used a rivet, but any [less than a dollar] hollow dowel, bushing, etc. will prevent you from drilling too deep with your hand drill.
^^ Agreed. Watch their Holy Cross video, he makes a valiant effort, and declines using his winch. Gets a little damage in the process. Good for them for showing their experiences.
Thank you for the great pictures.
We did some similar tracks as yours in July 2020, about 5500 miles. SD, ND, MT, WY, ID and CO, I love that part of the country, the mountains. We made it up to Hidden Lake in Glacier, did the Beartooth Highway, the Tetons, one day thru Yellowstone, Black...
Thanks, guess I should have known that. I did thoroughly blow them dry, and I hope it fully evaporated before any damage. My thinking is this will get me by until a sensor is available in the future (if mine fails).
Finally got to this, thanks again for the write up. Had oil in the rear, thoroughly cleaned it out with brake cleaner, then potted. Front was dry but potted it as well. Used red Loctite on the sensor bolt, blue on diff cover bolts. I did not remove the carrier bolt. I did a short test run...
Warn #87914 polished aluminum fairlead, 1.5". It is the one that comes with the Zeon 10S. Only for synthetic rope. Never used, does not include bolts.
$35.00
Perfect, unused condition.
Great post, thank you. I plan to do this in the next few weeks. My question is why/where are you marking the sensor with a sharpie? I have looked and looked and don't see a mark in any of the pics; of course I could just be missing it.
And, is there no concern on reusing the diff cover...
Any issues with the Roam slider/steps, as far as coatings? What coatings do you have on them? Are the body mount style more sturdy than frame mount? Those are on my to do list, so I am curious. Thanks, and love your writeup.
When I did the 2.5 RC on my JLUR my offset was a little more than 1/2 inch. Not a big deal, but I wanted it even. I got the Rancho trackbar, it's solid, but not adjustable on the Jeep. PITA torquing the jam nut too, but doable.

In the works, we'll see.

Hi all, long time lurker, but my first post.
I'm number 11 at my closest dealer, so at 14 days each, that is 154 days for the box to arrive. Seems most folks on here get them within a week.
I was in the middle of putting on a spacer lift, so I reversed course and went back to stock. Didn't...
