  1. STOP ORDER on all Manual Jeeps [Update: software flash fix arrives in March]

It's probably the best manual I've had and I had a 330i with the sport package, an A4 and quite a few others. It does take some time to get used to it but It shifts smooth, the 6cyl sounds pretty good.
  2. STOP ORDER on all Manual Jeeps [Update: software flash fix arrives in March]

I was worried about it but I think it's pretty rare. I will say as an owner of a 6-speed I will say it's worth the wait
  3. Anyone using Bogger tires for their daily driver?

I'm on a couple of facebook forums where as soon as someone posts a new Jeep every starts saying you need 37's. A few weeks later they are asking what they can do to improve gas mileage lol
  4. Anyone using Bogger tires for their daily driver?

I don't know, the first thing most people do is get 35's and a 3" lift with no intentions of driving it on anything rougher than a speed bump
  5. Question about Snow Tires of same size as stock

Are those steel or aluminum? Either way I like the look. Skinny tires perform better in snow and also most other situations you would put your Jeep in. “Because there is low friction on the road, having greater pressure on the road is more important than having more surface area. Therefore...
  6. Anyone using Bogger tires for their daily driver?

Not bad at all, they were really a good all around tire other than being pretty heavy. I doubt you are too worried about though considering you were looking at boggers though lol. I don't have personal experience with these but they also make the SS-M16 Interco considers it a hybrid tire...
  7. Anyone using Bogger tires for their daily driver?

I would go with an AT if it never leaves the pavement but I did run the TrXus MT on my TJ and they have that swamper look without being miserable on the road. They are also a great winter tire
  8. Driving in the Snow - Traction Control On or Off?

The only time I could see any advantage of turning it off unless you have a 6-speed and it won't let you start on a slick hill.
  9. 40'S on your JL

Haha, yeah I'm a function over form guy so I'm not sure 40's will ever make sense to me. I like having the smallest tire possible for the trail but I'm a rare bread with in the new Jeep crowd.
  10. 40'S on your JL

what kind of wheeling are you guys doing that you need 40" tires?
  11. 255/80r17

If I had a Willys I would have went with that size. I had 33x10.50s on my TJ and they performed really well off road with minimal impact on one road performance. The was a noticible difference in power/mpg's between 12.50 and 10.50 tires in my 4cyl TJ. Because I have the 6-speed and 3.45...
  12. Hitch Bike Rack recommendations?

Lolo suggests not using an extender but they will make it to fit your Jeep to some degree. When you order it will ask if you have a rear mount spare tire and they will send you the correct length to fit your Jeep. There are also a few different settings in the bracket that adjust the angle of...
  13. TPMS in my new wheels seem to be reading high

It goes up a few after driving. This morning when I left the house it read 43 and after 10-15 minutes of driving it was 45. I went into the store and picked up a new tire gauge and it showed 38. Got in the Jeep and I'm back to 43
  14. Wanting to install an underseat sub I have leftover from my last vehicle, is this all I need

I found this adapter on Crutchfield https://www.crutchfield.com/S-4Ab616cYWds/p_20646KILO/Kicker-46KiSLOC.html?XVINQ=GLX&awkw=646469969279&awat=pla&awnw=g&awcr=334964817246&awdv=c&awug=9009452&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxLm8ldSg7gIVE_zjBx0bFAw9EAYYASABEgKPKvD_BwE It looks like it would just tie into...
  15. TPMS in my new wheels seem to be reading high

After putting my new wheels and tires on I used a gauge and lowered the pressure to about 38. I went to work and home yesterday and the dash display showed 45 per tire. I lowered it more but I'm still showing 42, does something need adjusted.
  16. Getter ready to order new wheels and tires but I'm questioning myself again

255/75r17, they are a little over 32" or about 1/2" under the Rubicon tires. I have several sizes And widths on my 4cly TJ and 33/10.50 was the best by far. The skinnier tires seem to be easier to push and even seem to have a traction advantage in almost every situation other than maybe super...
  17. Getter ready to order new wheels and tires but I'm questioning myself again

After going back and fourth for a while I decided. I was down to the two but I figured if I end up keeping this Jeep I will probably regear and would end up going to a larger tires so I went with the larger wheels. Thanks Matt from discount tire, you helped a lot and I hated not to get the...
  18. Help before I order! 6spd manual or Diesel, 34's & level kit, half door questions

I'm the same way. I've driven several and have yet to find one that I enjoy more than the 3 pedal equipped counter part. The E46 M3 was close because it "felt" more like a manual but was still missing the driver engagment that the true manual transmission provides.
