A very small exhaust leak would do exactly that. The metal will expand as it heats up, closing off the leak. That's if it's an exhaust leak that you're dealing with. To my ear, it doesn't sound like one, but diagnosing issues by sound alone, especially over a video recording, is an extremely...
Yeah, to be fair to Teraflex, the sales/marketing team at my firm is a constant source of misinformation and headaches too. Can't count how many times we've had a "you told the prospects what??"-conversation internally.
I met Dennis (the guy in the video) at an offroad show a few years ago. I was immediately turned off by his know-it-all attitude. Despite never having used their gear, I had nothing but good impressions about Teraflex prior to meeting the guy. But I walked away from their booth that day worried...
It is not posted online anywhere, because a financing company isn't required to pass along the savings. In the event that you lease, the manufacturer ends up with the tax credit. Commonly, this savings is passed on directly to the lienholder (the lender you choose, as they're the ones actually...
Nice! Eager to hear how your guys' experiences go at Rydell, once pick-up day finally comes around.
With my first Jeep (ordered in 2018 through Sierra CDJR in Monrovia), it seemed that only one guy at the dealership (the inventory/fleet manager) actually knew how to track the rail progress...
My first order, which I will not be taking delivery of, is finally en route. ETA a couple weeks to Las Vegas.
If anybody is interested in a Sting Grey Rubicon with body-color hardtop, steel bumpers, and floor mats, let me know. That first dealer was fair to me in the end (refunded my deposit...
Sounds like yours might already be on the way. If you reach out to your salesman, he should be able to provide you with a VIN, which you can then use to reach out to Jeep directly using their chat function.
Mine, unfortunately, is MIA. Second order that appears to just be stuck. All the parts...
Yeah, I'm sure plenty of Rubicon 4xe folks will want black hooks. Still would suggest swapping entire bumpers (as long as it's plastic for plastic or steel/steel) rather than both parties tearing the bumpers apart to extract and exchange the hooks. Would cut the time down by like 90% for both...
You do. It's kind of a pain in the ass to get them off the bumper. If I were you, I'd wait until somebody offered up their factory bumper w/ blue hooks, trade for that, then offload yours in a separate transaction... For the cost of the blue hooks from the dealership, you can very likely buy an...
Rydell shows 8 in transit, with window stickers available for all. Mine Rubicon is, unsurprisingly, not in this batch; they're all Sahara or High Altitude.

On my first Jeep, it took two full days after final unload at railyard. That apparently caught my dealer by surprise, as they were under the impression it was scheduled for the day after that. I'd imagine the final lag depends entirely on your final-leg trucking courier.
You may be able to request an incentive lock. Your dealer has to get it approved from the factory. I've done it on several vehicles, though admittedly not on any FCA vehicle, so my apologies if Jeep doesn't actually allow this.
It was always good for 30-60 days for me in the past.
It certainly is, and that's one of the reasons why Fisker, as a company, failed so miserably. Henrik Fisker is an legendary car designer; among other things, the guy is partly responsible for the absolutely stunning design language that Aston Martin has been using for the past couple decades...
My first was correctly built as ordered, with the body-colored top. My dilemma wasn't the fact that I was forced to choose a top I didn't want, but rather that it had sat for so long, likely in a state of complete discharge. Won't get into a debate as to whether or not that's really "that big of...
Two differences. First had body-color hardtop and BSW tires. Second has black hardtop and OWL. Very much doubt it has anything to do with my selected options in either case.
