Takes a bit of work, bit I followed what this guy did... had to make minor adjustments for the gas vs diesel....
He’s super helpful too.
@JLURD and @toolaide4fit :
which step is this? I’m going to start install this morning and try to get it done this weekend. I think you’re talking about:
VII Final Tire Carrier Installation, Step 9. where it says to use the 5” long bolt.
Is that the right step you’re referencing? I just...
Looks awesome! I have my rear bumper and tire carrier on order and hopefully ships soon.
Did you install it yourself? Trying to decide if I install myself or take it to a shop - I plan to get a lift put on in Jan/Feb and might have them do the bumper/tire carrier at the same time.
Another perspective here (as if you really need more).
I put new wheels and tires (Patagonia 35s) on my JLUR in the first 500 miles. Got a great price for the tires and respectable $$ for essentially new takeoffs.
I’m right around 13,000 miles right now.
My JLUR has a manual transmission
I hope they put out great deals this year. From what I’ve seen online retailers have done quite well due to COVID because everyone is just sitting at home and ordering stuff for home projects etc. makes me think BF/CM won’t be all that impressive this year.
Hey Henry, mind share the financials here? They wanted to take me out back and have their way with me when I looked at trading in my 2019. I want a diesel too so I’m trying a private sale... any guidance will be appreciated.
