Has anyone been able to find out who makes the oil that has the Mopar part number for the Gen3 Ecodiesel?
I’ve been talking to my dealership and they are telling me that it’s Rotella T6 oil. They are still using Rotella even though Shell says that it doesn’t meet Mopar’s required specs. Here is...
I spoke to the service manager for the dealership, not the quick lube, and he was very apologetic and helpful. They did another oil change while we both watched, he gave me another voucher but I probably won’t use it and noted it into my record that they overfilled the oil by five quarts. He...
Nope. They never drained the old oil and added another five for a total of ten quarts. The level on the dip stick was about 4” higher than where it is supposed to be.
I tow an Rpod that is 8’ wide but that includes the wheels. The box is smaller and close to 76” wide. I can easily see down the side of the camper with my stock mirrors.
My camper weighs 3,200 lbs and I’ve already towed it from Oklahoma to Florida with no problems.
You won’t need mirror extenders with a 6’ wide trailer. If you want you could add a Furion rear observation camera to see behind you while driving.
You will need to install a brake controller and Id recommend a weight distribution hitch to help with towing. Several of us tow 6x20 campers and...
First let me say that I’m not naming the dealership right now as I need to speak to the service manager on Monday about the issue.
Yesterday I used their quick service oil change to change the oil in my 2.0 under the Jeep Wave program. If it wasn’t for being free, I would be doing it myself...
Prior to purchasing my camper I installed the Superchips tune and used the tow tune when hauling it back. I occasionally saw temps near 220 but then the electric fan quickly brought it back down to 208. I’m guessing they also changed the fan settings to help when towing. I’m hoping that I don‘t...
It‘s over the 350 lb tongue weight but not by much. I realize that can’t be changed but I did install a Curt hitch that supports 450 lbs with a weight distribution hitch.
I tow a RPod that weighs 3,200 lbs with the battery and propane. We pack light but I’ll weigh it once loaded and expect it to be around 3,500 lbs. The Jeep does great towing it but I wouldn’t want to have a dry weight over 3,500 lbs.
I bought a Willys Sport S and my only regret is wanting the 8.4 Uconnect over the 7”. They only offered it with the Sun and Wind package which I didn’t want. Maybe I should of waiting for the 2021’s.
Initially I swapped the springs but it reduced the caster and made the steering similar to stock, prior to the steering TSB so I ended up installing the longer Mopar lower control arms which returned the feel where it was after the TSB. It’s worth the $68 to buy them and took me an hour to...
Add me to the list. Last week I bought a Rpod 189 in Oklahoma and towed it back to Florida. Already installed a Curt hitch and the 4/7 pin wiring, used a Equalizer WDH and a Autobrake brake controller. The trailer weighed 3,300 lbs. my Jeep has the Rubicon springs and a set of Toyo AT3 34”...
