  2. Friend wants to buy a jeep to drive on the sand

I used to run Slicks or Drag Radials on my mustangs so this is far cheaper than that at least my KO2 have more than 8k treadlife.
  3. Friend wants to buy a jeep to drive on the sand

I must be a criminal then along with most other people who have jeeps as their DD. I spent at about 60miles round trip everyday for work in the jeep and it gets wheeled almost every weekend. In terms of time offroad it usually about at least 8 hours offroad and 5 hours on road just from driving...

Did they make any extra plugs to remove and when taking doors on and off or does it run through the factory harness.

Any pictures of it in the vehicle?
  6. Spring trip to Hidden Falls - April 3: pictures and video inside!

I go every weekend I have off. I also have LOD sliders on the JLU so I really beat on the Jeep. It stay off of stonehedge and the more diffucult 5s but have done wild cat multiple times. I just back it up and bump it. I have Rubicon 44 crate axles on order from the dealer but they won't be here...
  7. Spring trip to Hidden Falls - April 3: pictures and video inside!

I have metalcloak on both my jeeps and I can keep all 4 on the ground most of the time. The few times I cant I will use the e brake or the foot brake to fool the esc. It definitely requires more skinny pedal and I'm glad I have skid plates. I will also pick the easier lines on the obstacles that...
  8. Spring trip to Hidden Falls - April 3: pictures and video inside!

You will be just fine! Both of mine are sports and I have done all the level 4 trails and some of the level 5 with my JK and no lockers. If you don't feel comfortable with an obstacle just go around no shame in that! Also I have a winch and I'm sure other members will as well so if you feel the...
  9. Spring trip to Hidden Falls - April 3: pictures and video inside!

We could meet at the HEB in marble falls. That's where we normally meet with other jeep groups. Just say the time and we will be there!
  10. Spring trip to Hidden Falls - April 3: pictures and video inside!

Me and the wife were planning to go last weekend but decided against it with the snow. We will be bringing both the JKU and JLU. Any weekend except 3/13 will work for us. We are located in San Antonio so if anyone wants to drive together we can meet up before we head out.
  11. Quick Disconnects for Stock Height

I have rubicon suspension on it now but I did have them on with the stock height. The sway bar is quite far up now instead of down but you can shorten the links to as short as possible and they fit nicely.

    Still for sale?
  14. JCR bumpers?

My JK recently got the JCR stubby put on it and I love it. The built in high lift points are nice and you can fit a 12k winch on it as well.
  15. Texas Jeep JL 8.4 Uconnect Radio

    Where are you located?
  16. Which Warranty Did You Get? And how much did it cost?

This is bumper to bumper according to them. I asked when I purchased the vehicle. Its something they "have" to include when they sell the car. It was like 1250$ on top of the vehicle price and tbh I didn't fight it as that's not a terrible price. No deductible and it has no limits in terms of...
  17. The Apex Autolynx sway bar disconnect

I sure can but you'll have to wait until I'm off work. Just to make sure these are the ones that I have. The swaybar does not come in contact with any other part of the vehicle even if I hit the bumper stops. https://metalcloak.com/jl-front-sway-bar-quick-disconnect.html
  18. The Apex Autolynx sway bar disconnect

The Metalcloak ones do for sure work with stock rubicon height suspension as I'm running them on it and they are great. Takes me tops 30 seconds to disconnect both and under a minute to reconnect them. Plus they are much cheaper than the RK version
  19. Which Warranty Did You Get? And how much did it cost?

The dealer gave us a 7 year/100k warranty with the vehicle. Including 5 more free oil changes and tire rotations and some other little perks. Only downside is this warranty can only be done with that dealer. I guess it something that they specifically do. I didn't pay extra for it and its only...
