Oh, also ride is decently high on 37s. I have the rock slide engineering power steps. Very nice. Wife would hate getting in without it, especially in a dress.

i love the lift still! 20,000 miles and off-roaded CO twice, Michigans UP, and lots of KY trails. Great as daily driver on 37s, and comfortable off roading, flexes well, soaks up small bumps well. Handles body roll when taking turns and does t dip hard when stopping. And lift components look...

I did the extra skid plate also. Theres already some rust on it, 10 months from install. Ive been in Michigan and kentucky salt. The base sliders look fine, just the skip plate. I’ll just sand them some and spray some rustoleum and call it a day. Still very happy. Removing your body bolts is...

Looks sick so far! I have the ecodiesel too, and installed the non-diesel AEV 2.5” lift (diesel version wasn’t available when I installed) and I love it. I’m on borahs and 37 KM3s and they ride great. I’ve put 20,000 miles on it in the past year. I debated 35 vs 37 for a long time and am glad I...
  6. Who's ordered 3.0 diesel? Share your build

I spoke to a very experienced jeep mechanic who said they frequently see the previous gen EcoDiesel grand Cherokee’s and rams come in with 200-300k miles still going strong. They’re good engines. The few lemons out there complain on the forums, but the majority that are fine don’t have a reason...
  7. Who's ordered 3.0 diesel? Share your build

12,000 miles so far. 1 oil change. It burns 1 gallon of DEF per thousand miles on average (twice as fast as jeep says, but it’s cheap so who cares). I’m also on 37” BFG mud terrains and 2.5” AEV lift with a roof rack and roof top tent always attached. Averaging 22-23mpg. Plenty of power from the...

Nope. No issue so far on/off road. Love the lift still.

Just finished installing my Baja Designs LP4 lights, Rock Hard 4x4 full width aluminum bumper, and Warn Zeon 10-S. Since the bull bar sticks out farther from the grill the smaller BD lights work great. SUPER bright!

Just like JLURD said. The cables are the exact right length to route toward passenger fender, up behind fender liner into engine bay, along passenger side next to other wires, and positive directly attached to battery and I did negative to the frame nut next to where the AUX cable come out bc...

I just installed the full width aluminum RH bumper. Love it! Winch went on too. However, I’ve noticed my fog lights are putting off less usable light now, I’m thinking due to being more recessed into the bumper. Have you noticed a dimmer drive at night now?
  16. Diesel Lift Kit?

AEV 2.5” Dualsport did great off roading!

  18. 3.0D What’s your hand calculated DIESEL mileage?

I have 1500 miles. 37" BFG KM3s with 2.5" lift. Last tank I got 22.0mpg with about even mix of interstate, highway, and city roads.
  19. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

I really like it so far. Jeep sets completely level. I got about 2” of lift all the way around I think. I’ve added a rhinorack platform and about to mount a Roofnest Falcon RTT in the next few days. Rear should handle it well. Debating winch bumpers/winches now. I weigh 165 lbs and sat on the...

The diesel does have a noticeable sound. Slight clatter at low rpm. I really like it. Big rigs need a bigger sound than then 3.6 or 2.0 can give IMO. Drives like stock with 37s. I have no desire for more power.
