  1. Constantly asked why didn't I get a 4 door!!!! Anyone else?

What? They make Wranglers with four doors? When did they start doing that? Why didn't they mention that when I ordered this one? No wonder it's too short for me to haul my surfboard and skis in the back. Has anyone told Bruce Springsteen? Man, I am so bummed out now!
  2. 392 ? Hacking the 99 miles per hour limit ?

This is why we can never have nice things.
  3. What Gas Treatment/Injector Cleaners Do You Use???

Techron. I run my vehicles and their engines into the ground, 200K, 350K, to nearly 500K miles. I'm convinced that Techron makes them run well and longer with better power. Some of it is just the octane hit and I do run premium; but, I believe it also cleans the engine.
  4. When do you REFUEL?

I'm pretty old and have a really old bladder. So, let's face it; I make certain to refuel whenever I pass a place that has both a gas pump and a restroom.
  5. Train Horn Yay or Nay?

We already struggle to maintain public support for keeping our jacked up, wide stance, narrow fender, and wide tired vehicles legally acceptable and our trails, especially our public lands trails, open for our use. We can't kid ourselves; it's become a constant battle to maintain areas open to...
  6. No Jeep waves here :(

The steering on some of these newer Jeeps is unsteady enough to make it risky to take your hand off the wheel to wave. Don't take it personally.
  7. Curvature of Upper Control Arms and Front Axle

I'm impressed by the OP's crust; but, I'm not sure either FCA or a competent insurance adjuster would find as much humor in either his stunts or his obviously questionable story. Many of us use our off-road vehicles aggressively. We often incur some type of damage as a result; but, seeing the...
  8. New hookless winch rope!? Thought?

Uh... The use of soft shackles, including soft shackles integrated into your winch rope, to eliminate metal shackles has been around for a while. Using soft shackles and converting your winching system to synthetic rope as extensively as possible, instead of any metal in your winching system...
  9. Oh sh*t handle (near glove compartment).

Okay, let's all be honest. We're all driving glorified FIATs. They're all really fun; but, we all paid way too much for them. None of them are really as reliable as they should be given what we paid; none of us got any bargain; and, a bunch of Italians are getting monthly profit disbursements...
  10. 999,999

Whoa, you should drive less. That's way too many to have put on a 2018. It's even more disturbing that you can't remember doing it or where you went. You should check your tires and get your oil changed immediately and, oh my, if you put all the gas on your credit card, you're probably facing...
  11. Yes this happened in NY today

    So, Paluss, is that a 2.0 or a 3.6?
  12. 2 door vs. 4 door sales

I personally don't give a, let's just say hoot, whether you like 2drs or 4drs. Those of us who think we need/want to thread tight twisty places can get a 2dr and those of us who think we need/want to climb steep ledges and slopes can get a 4dr. I don't care. But, it sure might be nice and...
  13. Yes this happened in NY today

    Stark Industries...
  14. Yes this happened in NY today

You know; we can always find some humor in poking fun at the other guy's taste in decorative mods. I do it myself ...and, whoa boy, they're so often of no value beyond decoration. But, at the end of the day, we all have to come back to Earth and refocus on the common bonds that link us all...
  15. Door Hinge Bubbles

Okay, Kate, thank you for your effort. I understand the limits to your ability to speak on this topic and your predicament and can't hold you at fault. But, I hope you understand how the situation might seem less than completely satisfying for Wrangler JL owners. Although they sure don't want...
  16. Yes this happened in NY today

Didn't Jamie Lee Curtis' character in the movie Trading Places drive that thing?
  17. Beginner trail suggestions in Moab?

"Badges? We ain't got no badges! We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinking badges!" ...according to Alfonso Bedoya in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
  18. Door Hinge Bubbles

Okay, JeepCares, on March 4, 2021, I suggested trying to stop this problem, FCA's galvanic corrosion problem, by spending my own money, in addition to what I already spent on the Jeep itself, to replace the steel hinges that FCA mounted on the aluminum doors with the billet aluminum replacement...
  19. Jeep JL destruction from flat tow in 4Lo and 1st gear! Make sure transfer case is in neutral!

Yep, time to sell the RV that was towing it and send the full amount to Robbie at MoTech.
