I have to be honest, I seriously thought the 392 would average about 14mpg. I get about 12 combined in my truck with the 6.4 and the 392 in the jeep is tuned for even more output. However the truck is 8500lbs and the jeep is ?, maybe 6500 with all the upgraded parts for the V8? After watching...
If there wasn't a tazer device for the Jeep JL I probably wouldn't have purchased it. If I can't disable nannies then I don't want another modern 4WD vehicle. Drives me nuts in the truck and (other than hard wiring stuff) no way to disable them.
Just more things to break. I'm about to toss my smartbar for a currie anti-rock front and prob rear as well. I've been deactivating the front swaybar via tazer swaykill every time I hit the road and with the 100x better than stock shocks body roll isn't much different than with it connected...
I can unhook my front swaybar via the tazer and with the new resi shocks on a nice firm setting the Jeep drives and handles better than my RAM 2500 with full suspension and king 2.5's. I can literally blast over stuff at high speed and it will drive itself down the road with a pinky. The only...
Sheesh I would love to not feel any.. I can row the wheel back and forth pretty good.. like 3-4'' it seems w/o changing direction in the least. I've thought it was everything from draglink to tie-rod to control arms, all the stuff everyone else replaced trying to fix the annoying steering and...
Have to admit, I'm impressed too. I want one not gonna lie. Those quick release fenders are pretty rad. Guess we'll have to see what gremlins arise with all the electronics. Not that it's much more than a JL's but yeah, it's a lot more lol. Also $60k for the 'real' offroad package would be...
With all due respect to the Bronco, and because I've never actually seen or driven one, a JL Sport could have taken that line and climbed up just like the Bronco. The other guy who rolled def wasn't on that route. I wonder when they'll finally release some Broncos to the general public?
If that's a 2021 model with the 'new' steering box then it's not worth wasting my time to go have the TSB done lol. That video looks exactly like the play my 2020 w/ aluminum box has.
I think the best part about a 2 door is being able to drop and stash two doors and the top in a flash. Of course they now have the bestop roll-type tops for the 4dr, however removing 2 doors vs 4 is much quicker. If my Jeep was purely a recreation/weekend vehicle I'd prob have gone with 2 door...
Wow. Hitting the dunes with fox 2.0's... I had those shocks and wouldn't hit a speed bump fast with them lol. Might want to look into a axle truss, some good shocks, hydro bumps as well once you have all that damage sorted. And toss the rezeppa front driveshaft.
I bent one of mine, looked like a boomerang. I didn't even smack something that hard, but had the wheels turning at just the right angle I guess. Glad they're gone now, front and rear.
Interesting that a JK one will work in a pinch. Pretty cool!
