  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thank you! These are 37” BFG KO2, with American Racing Wheels 17 X 9 with 4.5 backspacing and a 12mm offset. No lift when the picture above was taken but I did eventually add an ARB OME 2.5” kit. (pictured below)
  2. A year into Jeep ownership and I’ve realized...

It’s the ARB Old Man Emu 2.5” lift. Ride quality is great. I have a manual so I am never really searching for power. But I do rarely see 6th gear.
  3. A year into Jeep ownership and I’ve realized...

You’re right Mopar steel bumper and the rail is the Maximus-3 SLP loop.
  4. A year into Jeep ownership and I’ve realized...

Good piece of consumer security to know, thanks for sharing.
  5. A year into Jeep ownership and I’ve realized...

    You’re absolutely right, 2.5” lift, 37” tires.
  6. A year into Jeep ownership and I’ve realized...

you may be right.... time to scour the forum for some touch of color ideas.

Thank you! I am definitely a proud Dad.
  9. A year into Jeep ownership and I’ve realized...

That there isn’t a day I regret the purchase. From 20+ off road trips with the family. The smiles and giggles that go along with it. To the support and guidance from the people on this board and the Jeep community in general. To being able to once again wrench in the garage with my Pops...
  10. ARB Old Man Emu 3.5” (2.5” Rubicon) Suspension Lift

Setup has been great so far! Here are some recent pics:
  11. ARB Old Man Emu 3.5” (2.5” Rubicon) Suspension Lift

Sure did. I went with a Maximus-3 winch plate and Badlands Apex winch. It ended up bringing the front end down about 1/4”. Ride has been about the same though. It may nose dive a bit more when braking. But that may just be in my head
  12. Old Man Emu Lift Kit for JL

For me I noticed a slight (maybe 0.5") rake when my hardtop wasn't on, but now that it's winter and my hardtop is back on the Jeep seems level. I haven't put on a winch yet, but I am curious to see how much that brings the front end down.
  13. ARB Old Man Emu 3.5” (2.5” Rubicon) Suspension Lift

I am going to add a winch but not any bumpers. For this setup the light duty should hopefully work great!
  14. Old Man Emu Lift Kit for JL

Great ride on the trails and on the highway. I do get a little more roll on my city road turns, but It’s a worthy trade off given the performance on the first two.
  15. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

Let me know what day your planning on hitting it.
  16. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

Ran Kingston Peak with a TJ buddy of mine! Some great views
  17. Rubicon fuel economy (3.6L manual transmission)?

I got around 19 MPG on 37” KO2’s without a lift. With the lift I am now getting around 18 MPG. That includes some trail riding in CO. I drive pretty passive, after all it’s a Jeep not a Mustang!
