I put halogen fog pattern lights on my grill guard for when my LED head lights get snow covered. I'm in Ohio, it does happen, not frequently, but it happens. I would still order LED lights again though. Much better light than halogen.

Jeep starts fine, everything works as normal.

I've used Goo Gone to remove stickers and other adhesives on lots of different surfaces. If I remember correctly it's petroleum based? I would try a little spot of it before applying it to a large surface to see if it causes any fogging or worse.
I installed KC 5" round halogen fogs on the winch guard. I keep the covers on them until winter. They definitely put out enough heat to melt snow as you drive. I have had my LED headlights freeze over while traveling. Don't forget to check your LED taillights occasionally as you travel.
