  1. STOP ORDER on all Manual Jeeps [Update: software flash fix arrives in March]

Sounds like he’s crossing the 2 recalls. The one he’s describing was last years recall, all new built Jeeps will have that already done. The current recall is the one so far described as a detune software flash.
  2. Operation Mall Crawler: Michigan to Virginia to collect 40s for the mall

Sounds like a fun trip for sure. I live about 2 mules from the North Entrance of Skyline Drive, so I’m a bit spoiled.
  3. My 392 Rubicon order is showing a price now ($77k) !!!

Amen to this. People were paying ADM and even full MSRP on Gladiators when they hit the lot. Waited 6 months and bought a leftover Launch Edition for 10k off sticker. It’s still just as nice and Launchy as the guy who paid over sticker for his, even if it took me 6 months longer.
  4. 😡 2020 JLUR Hardtop Defect (CRACKED @ 1,250 MILES) Jeep Dealer & Jeep Cares Refuses to Warranty it!

Unfortunately, the fact that the rack system requires drilling holes in the top, as well as the added rigidity of the backbone system is going to void the warranty on the top. It would be fairly easy to show the added stress of that or any load you had on it cracked the top.
  5. AEV JL bumpers now available

Personally I would want them. My AEV JK bumper had them built into the tanks and it looks much nicer with it matching the flare.
  6. AEV JL Wrangler Products & Builds [SEMA 2018 - JLWF Coverage]

I posted this in another thread, but 2 years of waiting and this penis shaped front camera extension is what they give us? AEV has always done a great job of making OEM looking parts that integrate well and look like they belong there. This however looks like a complete afterthought.
  7. AEV JL bumpers now available

I’m an AEV fanboy for sure, but the price on the front bumper is insane. My full width JK AEV bumper cost $1400 with winch mount and skid plate. Plus 2 years after they showed these, they are finally getting to a lottery for the right to buy one. Then this is what they come up to relocate the...
  8. 2021 JLU Already Towed to Dealer at 114 miles on the odo. Owned less than 2 hours... WTH

Did the throttle body repair get everything fixed up for you?
  9. Rubicon Package as a $5k upgrade to any trim

Even without power options on the JK, there's a still a harness to the doors for the door jamb switch. No wires to the doors when away with the TJ. That being said, I'd love to have the JK connector again, the JL/JT one is a pain and lots of people end up bending pins plugging them back in.
  10. Jeep is Gone

The problem isn't the techs, it's FCA themselves. They don't offer the sensor as a separate part, it's only available as part of an axle assembly. If they would make this $50 part available separately, then it would be a whole lot easier.
  11. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

There was a chart started over on the Gladiator side of the forums, and so far every 2020 built Jeep works just fine, so that’s seems to match up with what the FCA bulletin says.
  12. 2018 JL 2.0 *BLOWN TURBO* update....Outraged!.....Lawyers

Unless you reached out to any of those places and actually confirmed stock, then I wouldn’t guess they have them either. Pretty much all the Mopar parts sites will show the part on their site, but unless it’s something common that they normally stock, they have to order it just like the dealer...
  13. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

If you don’t have a trailer connected, You will only see that on the first brake press after the Jeep has sat for 15 or more minutes and the controller has gone to sleep. Make sure to read the operations card that came with it, they explain all of this pretty well on there.
  14. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

Yes you will see the red light when you press the brake pedal at first startup. What Imeant was it won’t light up with the dash lights Without a trailer attached. Mine is dark at night too unless I hook up the trailer, then it’s lit like the rest of the dash.
  15. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

2 Things... 1. If you have a Jeep built before 1/2020, the stability control errors is a known issue. You can either await the Mopar fix, or use the Tekonsha 3073-P harness to fix it in the mean time. 2. The controller will not light up at all without a trailer hooked to it. It’s not tied into...
  16. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

Sounds like you need to reorder it then 😁
  17. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

That’s awesome! Glad to hear you have it going. For anyone else looking, the 3073-P I have requires no swapping of pins, it’s plug and play. If you get the 3024-P, swap the blue and black.
  18. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

The problem here, and I don’t know why they did this, but the OEM harness does not use the standard colors in the standard locations. Because of this, you can’t simply compare the colors as they won’t appear to match up. You have to use a multimeter and verify that pin A on the controller end...
  19. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

I don’t but could probably pull the cable if need be. I used a multimeter and the OEM and 3073-P match pin for pin. The OEM harness uses strange colors for the wires, whereas the 3073-P uses standard color. Even though the colors don’t match, the pins match (aka pin 1 goes to the same pin on the...
  20. Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

I was referring to Plongson’s earlier post not yours. I don’t see any reason that harness won’t work on the 2018.
