  1. Lift Needed for Overlanding Gear?

Did you ever sort this out? I started a relevant (I think) thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/preparing-for-a-month-long-overlanding-trip.70014/
  2. Preparing for a month long overlanding trip

A trucker buddy gave me some info on weighing your vehicle. I want to be at or under my GVWR before hitting the road. If I’m over, I have time to get set up for a small trailer. If I go the trailer route, I’m hoping to rent one for two months before plunking down the money. A trailer is in my...
  3. Fridge question - not sure if this is the right section

LOL ok so I’ll avoid glass and maybe not carbonated beverages. :)
  4. Fridge question - not sure if this is the right section

Thanks but that looks like a cooler decider. I have a fridge/freezer.
  5. Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fenders installed

When I installed the first set I didn’t get any instructions so I never covered the relays with the provided heat shrink. The relays were exposed, so they were loud and eventually corroded. They sent me a complete replacement set of bumpers and this time it came with instructions. The relays...
  6. Massachusetts WTB 285/70R17 or 315/70/R17 KO2 x5

Yes they're available, I'll take some pictures and PM them to you once I get home, they're in the garage.
  7. Fridge question - not sure if this is the right section

I have a Dometic CFX3 35, mounted on their slider, very secure and beefy (pardon the pun). How are y'all keeping your food/beverages from bouncing around in your fridge? I learned the hard way to avoid carbonated beverages and glass bottles. :) Do y'all use something to take up the empty...
  8. Massachusetts WTB 285/70R17 or 315/70/R17 KO2 x5

I have a set of five 285/70R17s BFG KO2s in the garage, the tires have <5000 miles on them. The 5th tire is brand new, never touched asphalt. Stock silver aluminum rims, the normal minor scratching due to off road riding. I moved to 35s a couple months ago, taking up room in my garage. You're...
  9. Pennsylvania

@SmittyAFJL yea, some Cumberland Crawlerz members were having fun and veered off the beaten path. They owned up to it, paid hefty fees, and have been remorseful. They're a good bunch of folks who made a mistake. I joined them last weekend and finally did Crawl Daddy, and yes, many pucker...
  10. The Never Ending Journey to a Two Door on 37s - C1

I have a 2020 two door Sport S, with rubi-takoff Dana 44s with lockers. Running an AEV 2'5" Dual Sport lift/suspension, and 35s, supposed to handle heavier loads better. Curious what you plan to do with your rear springs, since I'm thinking of beefing mine up too...
  11. I have the entire month of June to play. :)

will finally have time to, today!
  12. Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fenders installed

    Serious?
  13. American Adventure Lab's base and fridge slide

I have the IronMan4x4 900mm twin drawers installed, they extend 1-2" past the edge of the AAL platform (which has a 1" upward lip). I'm able to extend the driver/passenger seats all the way back and recline.
  14. American Adventure Lab's base and fridge slide

The IronMan4x4 900mm twin drawers fit great in my 2dr JL. The twin drawers have three 1” high cross members. If you mount the drawers 1/2” from the rear most edge of the AAL platform, you have plenty of room on the back (tailgate area) and front (I can still recline!). Next up, I need to...
  15. How accurate is tire pressure gauge?

Your logic is precisely why I bought a MORRFlate Quad. :) I ordered it without the gauge, figured I could use my own gauge. Well, it worked, but a bit of a PITA, so I went ahead and ordered their gauge.
  16. I have the entire month of June to play. :)

Awesome, got links to trail info? I’ve been focusing on Badge Of Honor trails, but am open to other trails.
  17. I have the entire month of June to play. :)

Thanks, these kinds of trips usually end up being à la carte, where time and other things factor in. Hell’s Gate and Rubicon are the two priorities this year.
