I think some are making the mistake of thinking that because the poll asks IF you would pay an extra $100 for a folding windshield, it must cost an extra $100 to design it that way. That's not the case.

Yea, I read that during the JL design phase, whenever it came to a decision that could go either in favor of the marketing team or the engineering team (legacy), the engineering team won the day. It really shows in the JL. It off roads incredibly, and is a real treat to drive on the road as well.
Obviously my warning was more intended for laughs at my own oversight than an actual psa. I'm familiar with basic aerodynamics :giggle:
If I am going to actually spend some time with the windshield down I'll probably just remove it entirely. Looks better that way and it's easier provided you...
I just folded my windshield down for the first time yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've owned a TJ and a JK and never folded it down, but it was so easy on the JL and I had everything else removed so I figured why not.

Finally! The Jeep is mine! I'm sorry not more pictures forthcoming just yet. It has been raining non-stop here in PA the last few days, I'm waiting for the sun to peek out to get some better pics and video. It is an absolutely awesome looking color, I'm very pleased. And the jeep itself - perfect!
That's a good looking Jeep man. Like others have said, don't get bent out of shape about not having steel (pun intended), there are plenty of probably superior after market options for steel bumpers.
