Jeep is a 2021 ETorque 3.6. Will any type of 12 volt battery tender work or do I need one of the newer high tech models? Connect it to the starting battery like normal?

Owned manuals for 50 years. If your buying the 3.6 then stick with the auto. The new 8 speed is a perfect match with it.
