  1. When to wax?

I clean and wax mine about monthly. I use the Maguires clean and wax or any other reputable brand, the kind you put into a bucket of water and wipe on with a clean rag, rinse with hose, then Dry off with a nice terry towel. Looks great and doesn't take but 30 minutes. I do the Maguires Tire...
  2. Upgrades ideas -- too many options

One of the best things I have gotten, that I have gotten the most use out of is the Exxposed Racks Roof rack. Helped me haul many things in the past 12 months on top of my jeep. Great product and low profile.
  3. When do you REFUEL?

I refuel at about 1/2 tank. I always want to know I have enough gas to get where I want to go. I hate to get into a car and the gas tank is on empty.
  4. Guess I should have ordered a Ford Bronco!

I guess Bronco drivers are orange soda drinkers. I mean, water comes in plastic bottles or from your tap at home. Who carries orange soda in their vehicle??? Who needs a bottle opener?? Who wants to clean up an orange mess in their new ride?? Cans are much easier If you go the beer route...
  5. 3.6 engine and 87 octane a no-no

I beg to differ, but there is definitely a difference. If you run with a couple of tanks of premium gas in your Jeep then go back to regular gas, you will notice a difference. It is not imagined. But I do agree, a clean car does drive better.
  6. What were they thinking?

Have not read through the whole thread yet (sorry if I am repeating someone), but the battery situation in the 3.6 has a lot to be desired. Two batteries, one small the other large, one UNDER the other, takes a trained mechanic/electrician/mechanical engineer to change the batteries. I want to...
  7. Who’s ‘Upgrading’ to a Subaru?

Cant imagine the breakover angle is any better with this Subaru than a stock wrangler. How is that possible?
  8. ECRI Wireless Vehicle Calibration - $129.85

Anyone have any comparisons with Tazer and other calibration devices? I was going to look into this or a Tazer.
  9. ECRI Wireless Vehicle Calibration - $129.85

Read some reviews on Amazon, they were mixed. Overall, I think it may be a decent product.
  10. ECRI Wireless Vehicle Calibration - $129.85

    Is this a Tazer-like product?
  11. What does Stellantis mean for Jeep going forward?

"Do not take Stellantis if pregnant, and when looking in the mirrors, things may appear larger/closer than it actually is."
  12. Backup Cam Guide Lines Gone

Great reply, so you are saying that it will resolve in a few months with another update? I wonder if it will be another OTA (over the air) update? Mine seem to occasionally disappear, but reappear after restarting. I'm just so used to them being there, when they are not , I think something's...
  13. Are paddle shifters too much to ask?

    Love it!! three on tree
  14. 3.6 engine and 87 octane a no-no

Yea, what are your choices, run like a beater or like a well tuned engine, like its supposed to. I think it gets better gas mileage too, with the Higher octane.
  15. 3.6 engine and 87 octane a no-no

Well I might as well chime in, reluctantly, I might add. I use Premium or high octane or whatever you want to call the more expensive gas because my 2018 Sahara 3.6L pentastar runs better and smoother. There I said it!!!! Sit back and watch the fireworks......
  16. What's new in latest software update?

MIne is the same way, I don't think I got the 20 update for ORP
  17. First Preview of Easter Jeep Safari Concepts, Including Magneto Wrangler EV Concept

This is hilarious, but it sounds more like an erection drug given their erection over battery technology. But that is the way we are heading.
  18. My new scissor jack setup

I thought it would be nice to have at home but 800 pounds, and kind of pricey, I'll rotate tires and change oil the old fashioned way.
