Yes, never had back pain while sitting long periods of time until a certain age. I think the seat pain is unique per person. Wife has always had a back back - no issue in her SUV but my back hurts when driving her vehicle. Jeep isn't a problem.
Interesting. Elevation plays a factor but I'm in north Texas at 545 feet. I only run 87 and haven't heard any pinging. The only time I've experienced pinging was in a high compression engine (Miata) and that was only during the summer.
The seat belt reminder?
Jeep - Turn off seatbelt reminder
1) Seat belt on
2) Press start 2x
3) As soon as belt warning light goes off, disconnect/reconnect 3x
4) Turn off
I had something similar happen many years ago. I believe it had 8 hours of unibody frame alignment on top of everything else and it didn't meet the totaled criteria per insurance standards by about $2k. I asked to speak with the wholesale guy at the dealer and asked what he could get for it...
I was there back in November and nothing too exciting, just the logging roads. You really need to go a ways north of there to find anything challenging.
Installed this morning and works great. Tapping into the door wires above the harness was fun. I just drilled another hole in the driver's side plastic firewall plug and ran the wire to the battery. Same thing I did when I installed my dashcam wiring a long time back.
Good to hear it was fixed for free but what was their logic in warning you'd be paying out of pocket? They couldn't find a code or resolve in 15 minutes so it must be your fault? You touched it so you must have broke it?
So an ambassador will actually have to learn about the features of the vehicle. Meanwhile back in the shop, they'll be dumping 2 extra quarts of oil into the engine for that $200 oil change.
I bought the front pair but only installed the driver's side. You will bump the holder sometimes but I think I can tolerate that. If I were a big guy and 6' or taller then it might be more of an issue.
